Yes. There are a few train clubs in NJ that rent a rail car at the back of a commuter train for daily commutes to and from NYC. Can avoid the standing room only during rush hour. Also, for the beginning of the year in Congress, both the R's and D's rent a whole train to go down to DC on the first day (usually with other politicians and donors.)
