You would do away with corporate welfare, safety nets for our disabled, social security, Medicare, highways, the military, libraries, police, fire dept, garbage collection, prisons, snow removal, public buses, etc.? We have so many more socialist programs than I named, that I find it hard to believe you want NO socialism.

We currently have health care for all and the Government's hand in Social Security has turned it into a disaster.

    Nobody.
If the highways aren't a socialist program, than neither is any other expensive program the D's propose. I don't see "free" (paid by taxes,) highways as being any different than "free" health care or "free" college.

Infrastructure to conduct business isn't socialism. We voted for representatives to conduct and build these things. Health care isn't one of them.

That all can be taken care of at the state, local and private levels.

You want to send the Army of Podunk, Middle of Nowhere to fight a war over oil? Lol...

Personally, I like the interstate system we have. If I-10 were eight separate state roads, instead of one national road, it would be chaos. Florida closes the left lane for repairs at the state line while Alabama closes the right lane for repairs at the state line. Ha! Which state is responsible for the road crew to channel people immediately from one side of the road to the other. Some things just make sense at the national level.

I personally believe that the Feds have way, way, way too much power, but that is the fault of the people who keep re-electing these asshats. If your boss says, "hey, great job!" in every review, why would you change what you are doing?

I voted for representatives to improve healthcare. Tell me how that’s more socialist than roads.

There are approximately 80 to 100 million gun owners in the United States. That's the biggest army in the world.

And no, I don't want to fight a war over oil.

Ummmm.....are you aware that each State maintains the portions of the Interstate that runs through their State? Repair, Maintenance and Construction is not handled at the national level....though the US Dept of Transportation does provide funding and review.

Roadways are not an example of socialism. Public Education is not an example. Single payer, free college, living wages, etc., are examples of socialism being promoted by members and leaders in the New Democratic Party.

Hockey Dad gave a good definition of hard right: to insist white privilege did not then or now exist; anti-transgenderism and homophobia; denial of fascist dogma in the far right ranks. Also anti-woman, anti-democracy, racialistic, ethnocentric, are some other factors prevalent in the far right.

That is false libertarian definitions above. Single payer, free college, and living wages are not socialism (unless your public school districts are). It is not wealth distribution. Tax cuts for the rich is wealth distribution as the middle and working classes have to pick up the extra costs.

More gobbledygook. I'll tell you a little something here in the state of Florida. Alachua County has some of the highest property and gas taxes in the entire state. What the hell do they do with them? (oh, and it's a liberal cuck county FYI) I travel all over the state and their county roads ARE THE WORST I'VE RIDDEN IN FLORIDA!

Thank you for offering your opinion. Most people would find having people pay for things others won't pay for is wealth redistribution.

On the contrary, very VERY few want it. Whatever posturing elites think they want, isn't socialism. It's just more capitalist profits going towards more capitalist luxuries ('free stuff').

It's no different than that west of Orlando. Go live in Davenport, a GOP cuck haven of incredible taxes.
