How about a different style music thread?

It's on my list of ones I always remember, weird list that it is it includes this amazing jazzy jam, all too brief:

 

I'm stuck on this one right now.

 

Country Roads, somehow apparently my mind decided to unload, or maybe load is a better word, a lot of subconscious stuff onto this song and I am not sure why. All I know for sure, and this has been discussed now by many biographies about my life and times, is that the song came on the radio as I left my high school graduation ceremony and for some reason it almost brought tears to my eyes. Well, it actually did. Not of the sort that happened to me only once in my grown life when my little Brussels Griff was killed in front of my house by a car. Nope, I had nothing and no reason to hold back when that happened, but I digress. Let me know if you're interested and I can post some links to my bios on Amazon.

A well respected climatologist friend of mine whose formal education was in psychology assured me that in her well reasoned opinion I was overloading on Country Roads because I was among the first to break on through with a lifestyle that would later be classified as Gen X and that this song reminds me of the last time I saw my Mom and Dad behave as though they loved each other.

For something completely different here are a couple of way more fun classics, mix them back to back for the full effect!

 

That one is growing on me. I think I like the song more than the vid, which has slowed down my appreciation .. haha!

Another song I really like but absolutely hate the vid (it's way too cheesy, IMO), is Skald's big hit:
