This is a natural human reaction to the FACT that Israel is carrying out humanitarian atrocities against Palestine DAILY.

As for incentives, Israelis get to steal the property and water rights of Palestinians in West Bank under the protection of the Israeli government.

If some country started doing that to the USA, we would wipe them off the face of he Earth.

Blaming Palestinians for acts carried out against those wrecking atrocities upon them is just plain STUPID.
No, the US has worked HARD to prevent negotiations and in fact has given Israel arms and funding that are used by them to further their atrocities. Under Trump, we cut aid to Palestinians that are suffering under these atrocities while INCREASING aid used by Israel to further those same atrocities.

We apply ZERO pressure on Israel to stop those atrocities.

We apply6 ZERO pressure on Israel to negotiate - a direction that Palestine has been committed to.

We have worked hard to prevent world opinion from affecting this disaster, including our success in blocking Palestine from full UN membership, which carries with it the full responsibilities laid out by that organization

We have blocked any and all attempts by the UN Security Council from being involved.

We have worked to prevent ANY of the arms of the UN that are oriented to legal issues, to justice, or any other topic from addressing the issues they are chartered to address in the special case of defending Israel in their atrocities.

Any suggestion by the USA that the USA is interested in there being a negotiation is an absolute flat out lie. If the US thought there should be negotiations, the US would say so.
There were sound reason to reject Balfour.

And, then for you top claim again that Palestinians are bad while Israelis are good is just plain preposterous.

It is Israel that bulldozes the homes of Palestinians.

It is Israel that rules much of Palestine under Israeli military law in which those ruled have no representation.

It is Israel that steals water rights, allows those who have stolen land to destroy Palestinian orchards, and leaves Palestinians devastated in their own land as they continue their PROGRAM of humanitarian atrocity.

Nobody can POSSIBLY argue that it is Palestine who is the aggressor here, or that Palestine has broken more international laws.

And, let's remember that Israel slaughters large numbers of Palestinian civilians with impunity in acts that can not be described as anything but state sponsored terrorism.

THE NINE POINT FOUR MILLION ISRAELIS OF 2022 ARE A FLAWED GROUP OF HUMANS WHO MAKE LOTS OF MISTAKES.......
SO WERE THEIR ANCESTORS OF THE YEARS 1917 AND / OR 1948 BUT.......

I DO BELIEVE THAT THE NATION OF ISRAEL IS GOING TO DO AN AMAZING JOB OF SETTING IN MOTION SOMETHING THAT WITHIN A CENTURY OR TWO WILL BE CONSIDERED THE GREATEST APPLICATION OF THE PRINCIPLE OF TIKKUN OLAM..... DONE BY ANY GROUP OF NINE POINT FOUR MILLION PEOPLE ON EARTH.......

By looking at the event that transpired a century ago, it is very difficult to wear the same shoes and recognize the alternatives available (political and practical) at that time.

OK, So you want to talk about International Humanitarian Law.

The direction Israel is pursuing is to drive Palestinians from their homeland and steal their land - using direct violence to do that.

That is a major humanitarian atrocity.

    Read the news.

Look at a map of West Bank as drawn by Israel.

Note that Netanyahu refused to carry out his promise to Bush (as part of the Bush "roadmap") to remove Israelis from settlements that Netanyahu agreed were illegal.

Note that Israel refused to stop bulldozing Palestinian homes and stealing more land as a condition for peace talks. That was rock solid PROOF that Israel has NO intent to return any of the land they stole, and IS intent on driving Palestinians from West Bank and stealing their possessions.

Since then, Israel has worked on EXACTLY that.

Then, as they carry out existential war against Palestine they WHINE about a few rockets???

    Seriously???

Nothing can justify terrorism — ever, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon declared
at the opening of a high-level meeting of the Security Council today, capped by
a presidential statement expressing that body’s deep concern over the terrorist
threat and its determination to combat it by all means in all its forms and
manifestations, in line with the United Nations Charter and international law."

    (COMMENT)

Actually, at higher levels of critical thought, logical evaluations, and consideration, when the Hostile Arab Palestinians attempt to justify terrorism with schoolyard reasoning -- it becomes a matter of political maturity.

When you take up a position to observe a train line (looking at two parallel rails) off into the distance, there will come a point when you cannot visually tell the difference between the rails remaining parallel and the point at which they appear to converge. This is the paradox of diminishing proof. Mentally you know the rails do not converge. But from the human visual perspective, you cannot observe evidence to the contrary that the rail do not converge. From a propaganda point of view, the evidence requires that an event must either possess a given attribute or must not possess that attribute.

In the case of a real theft, the perpetrator actually takes something away from the scene. In point of fact, the property was never moved. In almost every case, the adverse event was over usage of the land. And the foundation of the argument is over political authority over the land.

At some point, the adversaries must be able to pinpoint the nature of the true argument. To say the land was stolen is so misleading as to make anyone who believes it to appear ignorant of the circumstances.

I'm not in favor of terrorism.

However, this is reality. Israel is stealing everything they have, right down to the land they cultivate, the homes they live in and the water they drink.

And, Israel is slaughtering FAR more Palestinians.

Let's get this straight. Palestine under Abbas has been strongly dedicated toward negotiated decisions, the UN, the rule of law, and an end to violence including terrorism.

Israel has been strongly oriented to the monumental atrocities it is wrecking on Palestine on a daily basis.

You CAN NOT expect Palestinians to refrain from all violence while Israel uses their military power against them in ethnic cleansing.

The ways to stop the rockets is to STOP THE ATROCITIES wrecked upon Palestine.

But... another significant percentage of the population of the Palestinian Authority are building tunnels in order to smuggle in bombs and rifles and other weapons from neighbouring nations hostile to Israel.

One way that Israel can address terrorism is through reality films starring the Palestinians who have sincerely renounced terrorism and violence against citizens of Israel.

Of all the large Christian denominations that I can think of I believe that Latter day Saints are in a special place to assist Israelis to decrease tensions between Israel and her neighbouring nations.

    Yes.

And, so might I if they were trying to steal MY land, tear down MY orchards, confiscate MY water rights, bulldoze MY house, rule me by foreign military law in which I had no representation.

The thing about humans is that they don't like being subject to ethnic cleansing.

Remember that America went to war, because of having limited representation in the execution of Brit law in the colonies.

We started shooting Redcoats from behind the bushes.

Actually.... there are economic aspects of what was going on between 1751 to 1775 that most of us are surprising unaware of.....

I think it was President Clinton who once said.... "It's the economy stupid!"
I just googled that and I found out that he was quoting James Carville... but anyway.....

Do we Canadians owe America an apology for 1750 - 1783?

That doesn't refute anything I said.

In fact, most of that doesn't even address the issue.

For thousands of years, the Jewish People have been relatively different in terms of their volatility and destructiveness.

The Israeli Military Power is not being used to commit "ethnic cleansing or atrocities."That is simply - not what we've seen over the last century. And as far as atrocities go, nothing in the last 100 years, have the Jews perpetrated anything like the artrocities as he authors where writing about when the 19th and 20th century laws were written.

The Israeli Palestine Conflict, by international standards even today, do not rise to the level of atrocities.

The Arab Palestinians need to quite crying and trying to exaggerate their numbers and start nation building,

I just do not see any legitimate argument for ignoring the atrocities Israel is wrecking on Palestine. And, the idea that you can find historic instances that might be claimed to be worse is absolutely NOT the basis for such an excuse.

Specifically, the monumental crimes of Germany DO NOT form a justification for the crimes of Israel, whether or not those crimes have any comparison in size or horror.

From another angle, the suffering of Jews during WWII is diminished by Israel turning around and bulldozing the homes of those THEY happen to hate. Morality isn't tit for tat. It's either there in one's actions or it is NOT there in one's actions.

    Beyond that, this impacts America.

Why should anyone in the ME or anywhere else believe anything we say about government or democracy or rule of law when WE are a major piece of the support for that atrocity that is antithetical to EVERY ONE of our fundamental concepts that we tout so loudly.

Remember the Egyptian revolution. Subsequent to that, the people rejected any plan for government that even LOOKED like it could be similar to what America claims is best.

    People can see.

Our support for the decades of criminal acts by Israel undermines everything we have to say about governance and society. And, that is seen throughout the world.
