Guns and related technology are indeed very interesting. I would appreciate a corresponding section of this board.

Turnbull does exquisite work! I have a Ruger revolver they case hardened the frame for, and it's breathtaking.

Nobody's better at what they do. I had a Ruger Brisley they had case hardened that I bought used. Slightly visible ring, but virtually unfired. Beautiful revolver. I sold it because it had the hammer you see in the before picture, and my hand was too wide and thick to be comfortable using it. I should have switched hammers like this guy did, and had a wide spur hammer put on it like in the after picture.

That is one of the beautiful things about customizing revolvers. You can tailor them to fit your hand through grips and switching out parts like hammers. I like Bisley hammers with the Bisley grips, but once made the mistake of putting a Bisley hammer on a conventional grip frame Blackhawk, which caught my hand much as I suspect your hammer was catching yours. I simply switched it out for a traditional hammer.

    Hello Everyone.

The owner created a "Firearms and Hunting" forum. For now, that forum can be found in the "Other Off Topic Chat" area. Some older threads from the Gun Control area are being moved there.

    Here is the link.

Thank you all for your input in explaining the desire and need for a Firearms and Hunting forum. Also, thank you all for your patience while the suggestions were being considered.

It might be nice to discuss firearms beyond banning them and repealing the 2nd Amendment.

I don't see why we couldn't discuss them here.

What sort of firearms did you have in mind?

FWIW: Researching info and discussions about guns is what got me into posting on boards like this. That sites name is GlockTalk. That’s where I learned to type and developed a thinkskin when posting in other sub-forums.

It’s a long story and I’m not gonna write a short story about it. I’ll just say: From becoming familiar with this site… I don’t have great expectations regarding the matter.
