I would suggest that your anecdotal experience is hardly proof. The topic here is gun control. Perhaps we can focus on that.

 

And here we see the arrogant, purposeful ignorance of the sheep of the world lain bare. I'd say it's laughable, but it's just sad. Even more tragic is that this individual genuinely believes the propagandic hyperbole he spouts. He is penned, chained, and proudly boastful of what a slave he is.

 

If you are as intelligent and educated and civilized as you say you are, why resort to common course speech ?

The truth is you repeat many Anti Gun talking points not based on facts.

It is not Racism to point out that a huge majority of Violent crime and rapes are commited by a small violent segment of minority communities by minorities already convicted of crimes, felonies and long juvenile criminal histories.
People already prohibited from legally owning firearms.

Taking away away or further restricting firearms will not reduce crime as those people dedicated to crime will not desist from criminal activity.

Educated individuals do their own individual research on numerous proposals, and recognize the severe logical shortcomings that they possess for what they are, and accept that they cannot be made to work outside of a vacuum, where they must contend with everyday aspects that were not anticipated during the drafting phase.

Beyond such, no discussion of creationism, or racism, has been presented for consideration. Nor can you actually demonstrate that either topic has been discussed by those that support greater firearm-related freedoms rather than restrictions.

To the contrary, reality has been embraced wholly. Anything resembling political loyalties have been dismissed and discarded in favor of cold, hard logic and facts.

 

Perhaps -- but the reason for this obviously has nothing to do with the availability of firearms to the law abiding.

To be fair, that depends entirely on your positions with regard to gun control, and your capacity to support those positions with something other than fallacious appeals to emotion, ignorance and/or dishonesty.

 

I have plenty of Legally Acquired Weapons & Ammunition, and I fully support having everyone else doing the same. I don't have a GD thing to hide, and I surely don't give a crap who knows (Private or Government) I'm packing. I'm a trained CCW License carrier, all my weapons are registered and I'm of sound mind and body and I don't have a record.
