Despite the fact that we're hiding and only having the odd popular singer pop out a tail, 4% of registered US voters already believe in my kind. So please keep it quiet. I don't want to get it to 5% just yet. Shepherding dictates.

I love how British people invented so called
"Gun Culture" .....and now would willfully deny such !

Like high tea, sitting rooms and social graces, some of us appreciate such things.

As I get older, the little things seem more important...

We still have pub with shooting range. As we can shoot whilst pissed, you lot must be decidedly uncivilised in comparison. I blame the spelling.

You prefer the simplistic over the real meat, I prefer the bone on which all rests.

The fault lies not in our stars (spelling) but in ourselves.....

What kind of firearms and do the discussions involve firing them?
Also, is there coffee involved and who's paying for the bullets?

what's to discuss, the constitutions says those with the PRIVILEGE to own a gun, have the right to own a gun

thus only if you do not have the privilege to own a gun are you denied the right to own a gun

so if you must have the privilege is it really a right? is confusing isn't it? is it a right or a privilege?

personally I think ever free American should have the right to protect their homes and families with a gun if they so choose

Not just their homes, their lives when they travel the roads, highways and byways, in days gone by, highwaymen would waylay and ambush unwary travelers.

Stll happens today, firearms kept in the home are of scant use if you are attacked on the road.

Well it's hard to involve firing guns in a discussion. When that happens it is usually called a disagreement or dispute.

As for the kinds of firearms, the coffee and ammo. We can shoot any firearms you or I own, the coffee is always on and I will be happy to provide ammo for any caliber weapon that I have ammo for. I have a 100 yard range in my yard where you are welcome to come shoot.

    Bottom line ?

In 1776, the Declaration of Independence from the British.

We were guilty of serious crimes against the British, this is our history, the British demanded We surrender, they demanded our Arms, many Patriots had the death sentence passed upon them by King George.

Today is not so much different, lots of British and Aussies, still want Our guns.

Truth is, We have a Bill of Rights that Guarantees Our Liberty and Freedom from Tyranny, specifically,
    The Second Amendment:

"A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the Right to keep and bear Arms shall NOT be infringed."

You can argue esoterics all day long as to whether or not Rights are Inalienable or Unalienable, yet, at the end of the day, the Right to keep and bear Arms is simply a Right, same as Freedom of speech, and the Right to assembly, you can argue semantics as to whether or not Rights have limits.
Rights are absolute and sacrosanct granted by Providence.

Just remember this fact, We kicked the British out of America in 1776 with all their attendant laws and gun control, and Corny Royalty too, and threw their tea into the Boston harbour rather than pay taxes on it to King George.

So when someone wants to use deception cloaked as Science, Empirical Process, or state pointless venues, gun control works, do it for the children, waiting periods save lives, and prevents suicides, Remind them why we kicked the British out of America, We wanted to be free of the yoke of British tyranny and free of the lies against our freedom and liberty.

    From memory:
"The tree of Liberty from time to time must be refreshed by the blood of tryants and patriots."

    Actual quote:
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
    - Thomas Jefferson

The reality is, the 2A is the fault of the Brits; they keep wanting to correct that.

But ours is the true benefit thereof, Arms are indeed the eyeteeth of Liberty...
Many people despise Liberty, Despots and Tin Pot Dictators, Presidential hopefuls like H.R.C. & Co....
The only way they can Rule Us, is by force of Arms and a State Monopoly on force as another forum member constantly and Rightly so, reminds Us.....

Yes, but many Brits (and LWs) would like to correct what inspired the 2A, not by denouncing the tyranny that inspired it, but, advocating against guns in the US as a first step in eroding the other civil rights we enjoy.
Disarming a populace is the first stage. They practiced it with every colony they established under the pretense of bring civilization to the lessor evolved. (Germany paid attention)

Well said, thou spake sooth indeed,
They wish upon us the New World Order, the New Republic, as George Orwell foretold in his novela, 1984, "Winston, think of a boot forever stamping on a human face."

"No guns, leaves a free people ripe for tyranny and Government oppression that comes in many forms and guise"

This amused me: "But Orwell viewed gun control through a politically socialist, not a law-and-order, lens". Can we call pro-gunners comrade?

Can you guess which is the correct
    quote ?

Hint: it is not the second quote.

Oh, and by the by, George Orwell was a Constable in India, Inja.... lol

That Orwell's socialism dictated his thinking is a moment of bleeding obviousness. It always amuses me when folk ignore that and pretend consistent position.

What's next? A slide presentation on Baader Meinhof?

You can regale yourself with the notion that everyone is foolish, however, you attempt to re-write history, yet it fails as nobody is fooled by your efforts.

George Orwell warned People against the dangers of Socialism and Big Brother.

HAHAHAHA! Orwell was a socialist: "Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism, as I understand it"

You'll be saying Baader Meinhof was a sweet shop on Old Compton street next!

George Orwell lived in many Countries and grew disappointed with the things he experienced.

You sure do project (protest) much.
Try not to categorize so much.
Not everyone fits your assigned cubby holes...

Protest? I merely quoted the fellow directly

Anyone that says "Orwell warned People against the dangers of Socialism" is making a laughable error.

Hey, if you want to pretend Orwell wasn't a socialist that's your beef. I just find it amusing that you'd deliberately misinterpret a left winger's position. Its like you're ideological blinded!
