Human Rights Watch Confirms Gaza Terrorists Killed Gaza Boy Shown in Iconic Photo of Egypt’s PM and Hamas’s Haniyeh

Human Rights Watch has acknowledged that terrorists killed civilians in Gaza during Operation Pillar of Defense when rockets being fired into Israel fell short. “Rockets that fell short of their intended targets in Israel apparently killed at least two Palestinians in Gaza and wounded others,” Human Rights Watch said.

The specific case mentioned in the report involves the four year-old boy used as a political tool by Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil during his visit to Gaza.

Holding back tears, Kandil kissed the boy’s lifeless body as he was presented him by Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh. Kandil said,”What I saw today in the hospital, the wounded and the martyrs, the boy … whose blood is still on my hands and clothes, is something that we cannot keep silent about.” At the time Israel strongly denied being involved in the boy’s death.

In the report Human Rights Watch places blame squarely on terrorists in Gaza for the boy’s death. “Some rockets launched by Palestinian armed groups fell short and struck inside Gaza. On November 16, a rocket that appears to have been launched from within Gaza hit a crowded street in the Gazan town of Jabalya, killing a man, 23, and a boy, 4, and wounding five people.”

The report, released Monday, accuses terror groups in Gaza of violating the laws of war. It states: “Under the laws of war, parties to an armed conflict are required to take all feasible precautions to protect civilians under their control from the effects of attacks and not to place military targets in or near densely populated areas. Human Rights Watch has not been able to identify any instances in November in which a Palestinian armed group warned civilians to evacuate an area before a rocket launch.”

The report continues: “The rockets launched by Palestinian groups cannot be aimed precisely enough to target military objectives in or near civilian areas. Under the laws of war, such weapons are therefore indiscriminate when used against targets in population centers.”

What a bunch of murderers... no good death should go to waste, it seems.

Now let us look a bit more closely at your source.

The same story also appeared on that well known beacon site of racist filth - Jihadwatch.

    Anyway..

    Algemeiner

The Algemeiner Journal is a New York-based weekly newspaper, covering American and international Jewish and Israel-related news. It is printed in English, with a small Yiddish section. Fox News called it “the fastest growing Jewish newspaper in the United States.”

Fox News, eh? What an endorsement.

Where does it operate from...what a shock....Brooklyn, NY.

The Algemeiner Journal is published weekly every Friday, except for the weeks of Passover and Sukkot. The paper’s circulation is between 18,000 and 23,000. It is sold at newsstands internationally and is available for subscription. It can also be viewed as an ePaper on Algemeiner.com. The website is updated throughout the day.

Not exactly high circulation, is it?

    No matter, who contributes?

Contributors and bloggers include Elie Wiesel, Ed Koch, Dore Gold, David Brog, Jonathan Sacks, Shmuley Boteach, Daniel Pipes, Abraham Foxman, Alan Dershowitz

    Annual Events and Lists

Since 2006, in conjunction with the Gershon Jacobson Foundation, the Algemeiner hosts an annual lecture series featuring a politician, Jewish leader or scholar. In 2011, Connecticut Senator Joseph Lieberman spoke on politics and religion. He referred to the Algemeiner as an “independent truth-telling advocate for the Jewish people and Israel.”

Beginning in 2010, the Algemeiner has put out its list of the top non-Jews having a positive influence in shaping the Jewish future. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper earned the top slots in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

As a prelude to the 2012 Republican primaries, the Algemeiner ranked the party's eight candidates in order of how good they would be for Israel. Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann and Newt Gingrich were viewed as the three best candidates for Israel, while Ron Paul was viewed as the least beneficial for Israel's needs.

A low circulation and Yiddish rag, fit for the cat litter tray.

No debunking of the story itself, eh? Just the usual "kill the messenger"? I expected this much from you and yours, Jack.

The boy is dead by the hand of Palestinian terrorists, and his death is exploited by the people who killed him. Does not it make you sick?

I think we can safely dismiss anything which gives a platform to Abe Foxman and Alan Dershowitz.

    Two horrible reptiles,

Well, no, it is a little more than that.

Let us take, for example, <<<mod edit>>> see rules from flame bait Dershowitz...

Don't be fooled by his academic credentials, it means nothing, in terms of the man.

Seriously, if all this respect for Jews were real, everyone on here would at least unify to condemn a man who had the temerity to call Dr Norman Finkestein a holocaust denier, given NF's history.

If that does not demonstrate to you what sort of Dershowitz is, then you are a lost cause..

The wording is entirely different, as is the nuance, to that of the OP.

OP headline...Human Rights Watch Confirms Gaza Terrorists Killed Gaza Boy Shown in Iconic Photo of Egypt’s PM and Hamas’s Haniyeh.

Heading from your own link...(Jerusalem) – Palestinian armed groups in Gaza violated the laws of war during the November 2012 fighting by launching hundreds of rockets toward population centers in Israel.

And the only relevant fact, that the boy was killed by a Palestinain rocket, is the same. A jew writing about the incident after the fact, doesnt alter reality. Only your perception of it. Your perception of reality has little to nothing to do with reality.

    I've an idea.

Maybe if Jews had not carried out an assasination, thus breaking the cease fire yet again, none of that would have happened.

How about that, how about Jews just stop murdering people, stealing land, and then trying to pass all the results of that, onto everyone else?

Stop shooting them rockets into Israel and into your own Gaza territory, and israelis won't retaliate. Simple, really...

Oh, and a lot less Palestinians will die, too - from your own rockets.

Strange thing is Dutch, not wanting that seems to be the reason for the assassination.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/17/opinion/israels-shortsighted-assassination.html?_r=1&

While he had not come to his decision, no one who wanted an end to the rockets would assassinate the very person who is in negotiation and if he chooses has the power to achieve this.

I seem to recall that the world has been saturated with images of the Nazi holocaust- and rightly so. Yet you, dixon, would like the world to remain ignorant of the results of neoZionist ethnic cleansing.

Maybe, in the future, what we can do, at ALL educational facilities, all of the media, and all of Holywood, is spend say 50yrs hammering it home to them how evil they were, day in, day out. Like they have done.

Again, that is for them to decide, see, I believe in the right of any people to progress and decide all such matters ... for themselves, unfettered, and certainly free from the hypocrisy of external meddling.

As far as US mainstream politicians go, Ron Paul had the right sort of idea.

Shame that in a corporate plutocracy, he never had a fair chance.

Well said, Alexa. I am also puzzled as to why the Zionist apologists can forget recent history quite so quickly: Let's try to find the answer by asking Dutch, shall we?

Lift the embargo as the June 2008 ceasefire required, PLUS stop assassinating Gazans, and they won't fire rockets at you .... why did you leave out that critical bit, Dutch?

Did you not know that those Israeli assassinations triggered 3 of the 5 spikes in rocket intensity in 2012? Or did you in fact know it, but chose to ignore it.

In ether case you have a credibility problem.

Alexa, seems like we have another forgetful one here.

Why kill your own people and then use them for propaganda? Shocking stuff, aside from the war with Israel.
