All queued up waiting for Chuck Norris to come and bitchslap Putin in front of them live.

    6.5 million active,
    23 million reserves.

15 times as many as you.

    You've got what you need.
    Loads and loads of nukes.

Not sure if a nuke will stop Vladimir of course, but hey, if he takes Japan first, there is always Godzilla.

    Mmmmm. Meh.
    It quite often is.

Hamas. Hesbollah. Taliban. IRA. Chechen. Al Quaida in Iraq. French Resistance.

The mindless hatred of Russia for no reason whatsoever really is ingrained into the American DNA, isn't it! It's pathetic actually. Almost childlike.

Terrorists generally attack unarmed civilians, not armed members of the military.

It's royal pain in the arse to be quite frank.

Never under-estimate the power of propaganda.

I agree. But what they did against the Nazis was helpful.

Americans don't really hate Russians but the majority certainly didn't like Communism. It's similar to not judging Germans because of Nazism.

The Democrats have made an imaginary enemy recently purely for political purposes but they can safely be ignored. They don't speak for Americans.

Putin is no Chuck Norris, despite the propaganda. Trump would only need to fall on him.[IMG]

Other than the fact of their nukes, I think of Russia as a second rate, almost third rate, military power. Accordingly, I don't care about their military exercises.

And now the good ol' U S of A has taken on the mantle of being 'the force for evil'? The USSR was (as you say) a hundred effing years ago and now it's a different country??? Jeesus, the hatred is more ingrained into their DNA than I thought.

I wouldn't get too complacent if I were you? You've got the hardware but they've got the nous - small word, but it has a big meaning. Think about it, and stop with the bloody bragging? If there's one thing I don't like about Americans it's their arrogance.

And there are some of us out here who don't like imperialism.

That would have been the Russians, or the USSR, as well but you're probably referring to US imperialism. Where do you feel their imperialism has done the most harm when compared with other imperialistic countries?

The Communists were in power until 1989, with a couple of exceptions still continuing. Do you truly believe the USA is a force for evil?

In fact, as in Europe, their are many on the left who are just as anti-American as any western European. And that applies to leftists everywhere. Supporting your country in the face of this ideological onslaught is a natural response, just as citizens of any country might react.

They'll have greater animosity toward the US than any of the many barbaric regimes throughout the world where human rights, women's rights and Gay rights are ignored altogether.

Perhaps you can explain this phenomenon.

I don't like imperialism whichever country is guilty of it. At the moment there's only one, and it's yours?

I think I might be able to - nobody hates America, it's America's inherent propensity as an imperialist country they hate? Why can't you (not personally, but as a population) get that into your heads? You rampage around the world to 'bring democracy' to countries that didn't ask for it nor want it, you (your administration) **** up by causing death and destruction, including killing innocents, because you've believed incorrect or agenda-driven information from various native factions, you allow corruption to flourish in those countries which antagiohnises the civilians populations because they're on the receiving end of it, and you wonder why every thinking person on the planet hates you?

Look, Russia has no 'animosity toward the US' - you're sounding a bit paranoid actually? - nor even probably gives a **** about the US, because Russia knows who are our real enemy are, and is concentrating its power and resources toward obliterating them before they obliterate us, and it's a pity you don't offer to help them? Am I really needing to say this?

How about China? Or Russia? Which US imperialism are you referring to?

Okay then, apart from China's expansion into South China Sea, which I suspect we'll agree is a defensive rather than an offensive move, and Russia's current military exercises - on its own territory? - is likewise a defensive move because of the bellicosity of NATO, which of them is invading non-threatening sovereign countries and causing mayhem in them, including accidentally killing civilians (I'm talking Syria here), and keeps sending surges of military into Afghanistan, which I suspect we'll agree are offensive rather than defensive moves? Of the three countries we're discussing here, only one of them has imperialist inclinations, and it isn't China or Russia.

In fact people everywhere do want democracy, though their leaders may not. That's why so many people are trying to enter Europe. the US , Canada, Australia and so on. Who ever emigrates to non Democracies? Recall how the people of Iraq celebrated when they first got their chance to vote, and did it despite all the Islamic terrorist threats.
The Trump Administration? Can you be more specific? There seem to be a lot of non-thinking people then who are keen to enter the US.
I never said that Russia has any animosity toward the US but instead that the US has no real animosity toward Russia. Yes, you're really needing to say who this real enemy is, thanks.

BTW, here's an article explaining that in how many Germans emigrated to the US, the last year of stats available. It's in the language you would have been speaking if not for the help of you know who. https://www.wiwo.de/erfolg/jobsuche...chen-ihre-zukunft-im-ausland/5580764-all.html

Who is China defending themselves against? And would you call Russia's advances into Georgia, Crimea and the Ukraine 'Imperialistic? Since when is NATO being bellicose?

The problems in Syria were not caused or advanced by NATO. And what are the Russians and Chinese doing there if not being imperialistic? Do you think the people in the ME are more concerned about living under the threat of US democracy or of a Chinese/Russian style government? Nite!
