    Lol! Well, that wasn't so bad. I'm not a nutty feminist who gets offended so easily! :laughing: I don't mind being complimented. In fact, I would say that I kind of like it! :p I have to wonder what kind of person would be offended by being called good looking? That's a good thing, right?

    I've never heard anyone complain about being complimented. I'm pretty sure it's those who are ashamed of themselves and don't receive such compliments who complain.

    As a political forum it is now nearly the singular issues of the personality of Trump and Russia. "Debating" the same topic, with the same rants, sneers and opinions stated thousands of times over and over day after week after month is not what some people are looking for. If there are any other topics - such as government policy, actions, etc - there is little interest in those.

    Actually, I was thinking lately that the mods have been especially restrained since the election and have allowed more vigorous interchanges to evolve. That's fine with me and I respect their policies, but maybe the posters are merely reflecting the current atmosphere nationally.
    People are on edge over Trump and are losing faith that he can grow into the job. And that's among those who voted for him.

    You know, I actually find discussions about policies, etc., to be more interesting than this Trump vs Hillary garbage, but it is still fun to tease the liberals with it. :D

    Well, I started this thread a long time ago, back in March I think? I would have to check the date on the OP. Anyhow, since the changeover to Xenforo, and because it is easier to navigate on this site, I think activity has picked up.
