What you mean is status quo? Back to when China was manipulating currency, openly stealing IP, and openly closing their markets to American goods? Why do you want China to screw the US?

How patriotic of you. You want China to screw the U.S. even more than what they’ve been doing the last 50 years.

What a stupid post. Really freakin’ stupid.

Yes that was the case long ago when my Mother and Father were young, sadly, the democrats you see today are mot unlike the author of this thread! My UAW pops would have put me on the streets if I had spoke like this about Democrat, republican and especially Americans! Now that was some hard core Democrats that wouldn't take a dime of subsistence even while on strike with SEVEN children and a wife to feed :)

Why are Democrats afraid of paying $10 extra for a TV but totally cool with paying 20% more taxes every year?

think I already said we are not, as long as we get better quality, we are willing to pay more - and if it brings Americans jobs home, even better

we keep having to re-buy the same old cheap china stuff over and over, used to be things were built to last

I am happy Trump is getting Republicans to support Tarrifs to protect the American workers

I am glad Trump signed a EO banning US companies from using China 5G equipment

I have no issue supporting Trump when I agree with him, I think this is one area only Trump can do

this is gonna hurt, I know that, but long term we will be better for it... I hope

I woudl also like to see Trump address foreign outsourcing... sign a EO banning US corporations from giving access to American consumer data to India... declare it a matter of national security... bring back the IT jobs

But it is just that simple! Even if it fails it's only four years until you get another chance to do better :)

I make good money, so no

but many are... and I have said many times, Bush and Obama failed to address foreign outsourcing and foreign imports, if Trump does.... that woudl be worth his Presidency right there

so let's wish him well on this one, I hope he can do it

this is from 2014... but many more examples

    and 2015

The stats are not on your side with this argument bro! The economy even by liberal stats have had to bow to numbers.. With all that Trump is bashed for we should all be celebrating this little serge of prosperity! Christ man, be a little happy that many people are enjoying some economic relief and stop with all this ridiculous doom and gloom all the damn time! If I were a democrat, AND I WAS for the better part of my life, Id Damn well be running on how I could hold this boon and what I was going to do make it even better! All we hear from so called Democrats today is how we are make everything available at no cost to you, "JUST PAY SHIPPING AND HANDLING" :)

Trump has not crashed the economy and has continued the Obama trend, for that I am grateful, but unless Trump pull this off, he really has not done anything to bring jobs back home

the reality is, unless we bring the jobs home, America will eventually go BK

people without good jobs need help, I support that too, bring the jobs home and they wont need the help, they want to work, live the American dream too

I grew up on welfare, it works if the jobs are there

lower the retirement age too, let the younger folks work, let the elderly retire if they want

Well I for one don't believe that way, but it is what it is between our ideology's! On the other hand not ruining what we have is something I credit our system of government with.. No one man can bring down this nation and that's the horse shlt the democrats are constantly peddling and it's simply not even remotely truth :)

What we as a people should be doing is WORKING with what we have rolling and ignore all the partisan hyperbole and push to keep what we have going.. Like you said, it's clear checks and balances will keep Trump contained, so why not use those propaganda talents to gin up and excite the people to be more instead of tearing both sides down and preaching doom and gloom.. It just seems like democrats don't want to promote prosperity even when they believe it's of their own parties making..

If Obama is to be credited for what we see then why in God's name doesn't the Democrat PRAISE it from the highest mountain!

Sorry no he did not continue the Obama trend. The Obama Trend was 1.5 to 2% growth as far as the eye could see they even told us it was the new normal. You need a new lie that one falls flat.

Democrats haven't been the party of the working class since the end of the Vietnam War.

more so then the right, the right always holds the working class hostage unless we give the rich a huge tax cut too rather then a bigger tax cuts for the middle class.. just look at the Trump tax cuts and the Bush tax cuts

so do you support Tarrifs? you keep ignoring that part of my posts?

And six years later we were still at 1.5 to 2% and being told that was the new normal.

Obama failing wasn't going to hurt the country. Sadly he didn't fail.

I'm not a fan of Tariffs in general but frankly they make a pretty good stick properly used if the other guy won't play nice.

And frankly taxing the **** out of my boss doesn't put a dime in my pocket.
