Instead, everyone Democrat or Republican, should rip you for saying that a 65 year old can rape an 11 year old and not be a pedophile.

I'd have to grant you that. But I believe they'd at least get the books in balance.

Around here, a club means going to a bar or pub.

Country club or bar, whatever floats your boat.

History shows us it's VERY tough to unseat the incumbent president. Trump's followers will re-elect him...bet on it.

Reality: Classical Liberals are a minority in the government and the Democratic Party.

Classical Liberals are basically forced to make the decision between totalitarian Progressivism versus borderline liberal Conservatism.
At least in the current political climate.

Well I don't know you at all so I don't know what is 'right' or 'usual' for you. :)

But yes. The President may be the most unorthodox chief executive that we have ever had or maybe will ever have again. He is unique in that he is non partisan, non ideological, opposed to all status quo that is stagnant and not delivering where it should. Also, though he is sometimes petulant, obnoxious, profane, irritating, and annoying, he presents a vision that all freedom loving people can share, and has fully demonstrated, at great personal cost, a willingness to achieve it and for the most part good skill sets and instincts to accomplish it.

Given the pathetic agenda and field of candidates the Democrats are offering so far, I would bet a good steak dinner that if he runs, President Trump will be re-elected by a landslide in 2020.

A "classic Liberal" was more like Joe Lieberman or Arlen Specter than any there today.

I see it totally different. Roots of the Democrats is their daily scramble to lock us up. Law upon law is piled on the humans. Republicans want more freedom.

Look at efforts against Trump. Lock him up is the cry.

Complaints that of all nations, we lock up the most. Thank you Democrats

What a crock of *****. Republicans are just as authoritarian ( more so even probably ) as the democrats. You just want enforce a differing set of principles.

Your version of "freedom" and "rights" are policies that will rip away the means for some people to survive.

Your version of "freedom" and "rights" are policies that discriminate against people who dont live an "approved" lifestyle of hetrosexuality.

Your version of "freedom" and "rights" wants to push certain religions to the forefront, while demonizing those of other religions.

Your version of "freedom" and "rights" is facism wrapped in an american flag, and carrying a cross.

Typical Democrat style of attack. Make a lot more false claims. That is the ticket.

Is Government a huge welfare system? Not according to the constitution. Why is it Democrats focus on homosexuals? I seldom think of them and my brother was one.

I don't demonize religions. I call out the people who believe it is okay to kill your daughter or hang young men for objecting to government. But it is not the religion.

Why the utter hate against me, just a fellow poster?

I once was just like you. I once believed what you do. It is a lie told by Democrats.

Classical liberals support gov't intervention, management of our capitalistic economic model, and that isn't small gov't at all. Classical liberalism actually comes with values, beliefs, principles, and if one holds such views, then you have a classical liberal. No?

So, now you want to make classical liberalism all about white people and them being on top? Good grief. Such a one track mind! Mighty thick filter you have there, to filter reality to meet your personal quirks of belief. ha ha

What right don't you have now that you had 100 years ago.
As a society, we have more rights now than we did 100 years ago, yet conservative want to go back to that time? Logically, it is a fantasy.

Actually Democrats live to lie. I mean that in all sincerity.

I have proven that it is the Democrats behind the mad rush to laws. Damn it, all they live for is to pass more and more laws. We republicans work to unravel their hostile nature to humans.

100 years is a tad too short to discuss. Starting with Wilson, but magnified by FDR, this nation is besieged by laws.

The notion all laws are wonderful is a load of horse pucky. Even Democrats whine about the Patriot Act. It happened during Bush but did he have the entire congress?

Bush had a mixture of short term republican help followed by Democrats in charge of making laws again.

I only approved Patriot Act due to the focus of that law being against terrorists. I still think it was created so quickly being based on the present RICO laws as the model for Patriot. RICO laws suck out your freedom.

My claims play themselves out over and over and over again in the bills and laws that the GOP supports. Lets just look at the budget they put forth that takes over 8 billion from SNAP, Pre natal care, Medicade.

Just one shining example of the compassionate conservative.

Why haven't the Repubs gotten rid of the IRS when they've had control of the WH and congress?

I am taking of law and you are talking of spending bills. Trump submitted the budget for 2020.

Again, is the nature of Government supposed to be welfare for the few or the wholesome good fare of the entire nation?

    President Trump's budget to include $100M for Ivanka's women's fund ...

    https://www.westernmassnews.com/...trump...budget.../article_076a3ccf-cc9c-57ab-84...

5 days ago - WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump's 2020 budget proposal will include $100 million for a global women's fund spearheaded by ...

I: SNAP benefits cost $70.9 billion in fiscal year 2016 and supplied roughly 44.2 million Americans (14% of the population) with a monthly average of $125.51 per person in food assistance.

Will SNAP benefits increase in 2018?
It is expected that this will cause most SNAP households to see a small increase inSNAP benefits. The following elements of the COLA will change, effective October 1, 2018: Gross, Net and 165 Percent Income Eligibility Standards - The gross, net and 165 percent income eligibility standards have increased.Sep 28, 2018

I will point out that claims were made about the last Trump budget by Democrats that turned out not true.

I guess their plan now is to double down.

Submit proof to back up what you said please.

As I get this, due to the Trump economics plan working, we have less need for those programs than in the past when Obama was president.

If they do get control of the congress ha ha ha, they do not get a Senate that has a 60 vote R which would of course only then be what is needed to stop Democrats.

One party has tried to get rid of the IRS

    The Republican party

See FAIR TAX law we proposed

Introduced in House (01/03/2019) This bill imposes a national sales tax on the use or consumption in the United States of taxable property or services in lieu of the current income taxes, payroll taxes, and estate and gift taxes.Jan 3, 2019

Fair tax billed introduced in 2019...and when was IRS created? The Repubs have never had control of congress in the past? The 60 vote rule hasn't always existed, right?
