It's the night of the election and regardless of whom we want to win it has been a vile election year. That's why we should bring at least a little bit of civility to it. If you want, please pledge that you will not gloat, brag, be rude, not rub it in other peoples' faces, etc. tonight when the votes come out. So I pledge to not gloat or brag about who wins the election and I will it was a good race to the other candidates when the election has been declared. I will be humble and acknowledge that this has been hard on everyone and that we are all citizens. We may disagree with who wins, but we can come together as citizens to help make a better future possible.

I'm gonna run my mouth all night. I'm sick of Republicans. They are the cancer of this country. That good ole boy network is dwindling into oblivion.

Why? What is it going to do other than poison the country? There's no point to it, whoever wins is who won. And we should respect that. That is the will of the people.

I would like to agree with the OP but in the end I have to side with you. I too am sick of Republicans. I'm sure that they are now plotting to see how they can impede Hillary Clinton's presidency and brainstorming on ideas for upcoming unfounded accusations and fabricated scandals.

oh dear ... so uninformed. you may want to learn a little about the growing 'movement' comprised of the disaffected left and the alt right. of course you're free to continue to believe it's still 1999 ... when the left were the good guys.

Brainstorming? Democrats are too funny, brainstorming! There is a scandal in every nook and cranny, no need to brainstorm.

That's kind, and appreciated. I hope no one is rude to you as well.

Unfortunately though, I think there's too much of a divide between the country's marxist's and the taxpayers though. I don't think we could be more polarized than we are.

Oh barf! If Trump wins then I am going to symbolically urinate over every leftist I can post to; and, on the other hand, if Trump loses then I am STILL going to symbolically urinate over every leftist I can post to.

a poster has had a avatar of Obama urinating on the USA for over a year now, so suppose you could use one of Trump urinating on the USA if you wanted

that said, I did not support it for Obama and would not support for Trump either

That's a classy position to take sir. I can see why you really identify with Mr. Trump. So far, Trump looks pretty good. He's winning in Virginia, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina and within striking distance in Florida. He has already won big in Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky. It's a real barn burner! I got a nice bottle of whiskey and plenty of ice. What a wonderful world we live in. Cheer up champ, your boy might pull off the biggest upset in US political history.

In truth I expect Trump to win the popular vote by a squeaker but for Hillary to win the Electoral College vote; and so I expect them to be talking about President Elect Hillary Clinton in the morning. I won't be able to stay up long enough tonight to find out who won. So the morning will be very interesting for me.

Oh I dunno. Even if Trump loses the chances are very good that the GOP will get a major league shakeup from top to bottom. I can see RINOs being punished by voters for . . . being . . . RINOs. Call me an optimistic cynic.

I think whoever wins the electoral vote, either Trump or Clinton will win the popular vote. If Clinton wins in Florida, North Carolina and Michigan she will get over 300 electoral votes and win by 5-6%. Right now, it's still up in the air.

If Don wins I pledge to sit glued to my TV for the next 4 years munching popcorn with a smile on my face bigger than a wave on a slop bucket being entertained by him going around like Hawk the Slayer clearing out the Establishment dead wood and draining swamps..:)

If Hill wins I pledge to sit glued to my TV for the next 4 years munching popcorn with a smile on my face bigger than a wave on a slop bucket being entertained by her going around messing up..:)

Nothing to gloat about either way. This election is a lot more important than that. If Hillary wins, democrats can gloat, but they'll be doing so knowing that they're just shooting themselves in the foot. Hard to take somebody like that seriously.

    Cheers, thanks.

I can't stand either of 'em, so it'll end badly regardless as far as I'm concerned.
