I saw 1917

Excellent environments and back drops but the movie fails on every other level with hollow scripts , shallow dry characters and boring actors

it’s about a C plus

Tries to be SPR but only manages 20 percent

 

I would give it a B. It was a good solid movie with excellent cinematography. The actors were fine, but I was disappointed about the lack of Women of Color in the cast. It's 2020, not 1917! Be better!

 

I liked this movie but I'm more a book man than a movie man, so I don't have a real expertise on the matter. I would give it a B+.

Again, be better! The story would have been much improved by a love story between the two principals, instead of them merely being "friends."

 

I was very disappointed none of the dead horses were played by unicorns. Hopefully joaquin phoenix takes on the role of a trans unicorn in his next film.

I just watched the Trailer. Looks good. I really liked Skyfall (not the 2nd one though...) so I'll prolly like it.
