The people are all part of the simulation. There were maybe a half-dozen people hooked up to the simulation when I was hooked up to it. And, as far as I know, I'm the only one left with a body in the outside world.

There was actually a test, when I worked for an unknown branch of the military, select a pill, red or blue. At first, not knowing what they meant, I picked the blue one, then I picked the red one when it was explained to me. I actually took both, they don't do anything to you, they are just a ceremony.

Then they showed me a machine you sit in that can tell if you have a body outside of the simulation. It turns out I DID have a body outside of the simulation, but there isn't that much to see out there. It's just a sealed off military instillation that gets supplies every 6 months, or so.

As far as I know there are people in the outside world just living normal lives. They don't do war anymore, I think. Oh, and the people outside of the simulation integrate events of the outside world into the simulation. They even influence us, in here, to make the same movies that are outside.

But you're not saying I'm part of a simulation. You're saying you experienced another world, like this one, in a simulation, right?

As far as I understand it everyone and everything is a part of the simulation. And I was taken out of the simulation and there was another world with humans on it. But they're more advanced than we are.

Mm-hmm, sounds like you've been watching a few too many reruns of The Thirteenth Floor.

I haven't watched any TV shows or movies about simulated worlds.

I'm pretty sure you saw the same movie I did.

Nope, I never saw any of the movies that there is a simulated reality. These are all my own experiences and they pre-date the movies.

Message boards can be considered a simulated reality. I just question why you are willing to think your real life is one. Allowing yourself to be a victim is one possibility.

Being on a horticultural farm seems rather pleasant.

An alternative explanation could be some sort of schizophrenic experience and hospitalization, but that would need to be determined by asking questions of your family. The military could have given you some sort of drug that could bring that on; it wouldn't be the first time they did an experiment like that.

In any case, your present reality seems more pleasant than being on a military base.

Well I actually did end up with schizophrenia, but that happened in my 30s, in the 2010s. Up until that point I was normal. And the events occurred when I was young, in the 1990s.

As for military drugs, yes there was a drug, when I left the unknown branch of the military, they gave me something to erase my memory. I have no idea what it was but I requested it after reading something horrible, what it was I don't remember.

I don't remember when this happened, but I seem to remember more about the simulated reality.

I seem to remember that they woke me up and the people outside of the simulation said that they had started running another copy of the simulation that I was connected to and the simulated people inside of the other simulation, which I was NOT connected to, had destroyed themselves in a nuclear war.

So they were praising my skills at preventing a nuclear war, but I disagreed with them because I wasn't doing anything important and, as a kid, I was just playing with the other kids and had no impact on world events. But they said my presence in the simulation was the only difference between the two simulations.

So then they wanted to test the possibility that I was the difference that prevents a nuclear war. They wanted me to move myself from the original simulation to a new and improved simulation that was the same exact copy of the original simulation. I remember that they were trying to make a self running simulation machine to replace the machine that required a person be hooked up to it to run.

Anyway they wanted to run several copies of the simulation to run in parallel with each other to see if it was my influence that prevents nuclear war or whether the simulations diverge on their own.

At first I didn't want to leave the original simulation because I thought of it as killing everyone inside the simulation, simulated though they may be. But they assured me it was the same program just run on a different machine. So I moved over to the other machine and it was the same exact world that I left. So I didn't think too hard about it. And the only other worry I had was that I might die in a nuclear war inside the simulation, but that hasn't happened yet. And they said if I did die they would pull me out of the simulation.
