I suppose that it comes down to this. My self-defense is, first and foremost, a personal responsibility, not a public responsibility.

Responsibility - The ability to respond

    Armed, trained, practiced

I didn't click on your thing there, but I did want to mention that, a shotgun is the very first self-defense firearm one should acquire.

I've seen what happens down range. Women melt into women. Men, who have never been the underdog in a fight, piss themselves. The scrappers, the men who have fought when they were sure that they were going to lose, operate their weapons with proficiency. Courage is not not-being-afraid. It's being afraid and doing it anyway.

Gee, this forum is so filled with God fearing professing "Christians". They are supposed to read their Bible, adhere to its teachings, turn the other cheek, love their enemies, and allow themselves to be thrown to the lions like they did in biblical times.

Why do they need guns if they are such Christians???

Well that was a time before leftist, meth heads and lunatics! We live in a much more difficult time present day, being God fearing Christian in todays arena puts a person in a negative light to begin with..

God made all men different from each other. Samuel Colt made them equal.
God created all men equally, including Samuel Colt.
We are all the same. We are all but characters, written by the same author, with different roles.

And he gave women all the common sense.

So while you boys fight over who has the biggest guns we will be paying the bills and wondering why you aren't working overtime so we can pay off that credit card early.

A good woman is not unlike a gun, and a good man is not unlike a bullet. Without a gun, the bullet makes a loud noise, skitters along the ground and is essentially a hazard. With the constraints of a good woman, or a good gun, the man, or the bullet, can be of much efficacy. Of course, both sets of balls (flesh or lead) will fight against that which constrains him to the direction he should go. In such, both women and guns are to be considered graceful in the discharge of their good duty.

As my Mother often said, the man is the head of the family, but woman is the neck. The woman aims the man in the direction he should go.

There are some very important differences between the bible and the Word of God. The Word of God is implied in the bible, but our inferences are not necessarily what is implied. One of the differences between the bible and the Word of God is that the Word of God is tested; it is the product of testing the inferences one takes from the bible.

Americans should stick to their guns. That's their best line of defence against against tyranny liberals envisaged for them. People should learn from history. For example, the very first people Bolsheviks went after were the Christians. US so-called liberals are cut from the same cloth as Bolsheviks. Totalitarians. My way or no way. The end justifies the means.

The only tyranny I see are a bunch of nuts with guns threatening anyone they don't agree with. You don't need protection from liberals. You need protection from trumpers.

Trump even dog whistled for a civil war if he is convicted of the crimes he has surely committed.

If liberals are the threat, then why do the trump nuts all carry guns? I don't see heavily armed liberals roaming the streets.

You aren't afraid of liberals. You are afraid of the Boogie Man. You just call him a liberal this year. Next year or the year after it will be something else. But it's always just the Boogie Man under your bed.

Ultimately that is the safest bet.

Tyranny can't exist with an armed populace.

    It just can't.
