Buzzword? The mayor of Philly literally danced and gave his secretary a high five to celebrate being a sanctuary city. Do you need to see a video?

Also, I believe there are laws punishing people who hire illegals, and I believe proposed laws to punish the people who hire illegals has been called racist.

You tell us? All of them would have already had deportation orders which means they have already been in front of a judge.

No they were never union jobs paying $30-$35 dollars they paid about what they pay now and local people won't work those job because they don't won't to work in a poultry plant or meat packing plant when they can live off the government and the taxpayer. And you'd be crying at the price your chicken would cost you if the workers were being paid $30 - $35 an hour.

Why didn't these workers come her legally? I have a candy plant I call on where it's the same, local low skilled labor prefers not to work. They bring in HB1 visa workers, actually pay for long term hotelrooms for them, has a bus that takes them back and forth to work and to Wal-Mart and shopping on weekends.

So why do these companies keep bringing them back? Or do you simply not care?

We have been building more physical barriers, hiring more border control agents and utilizing better and better electronic surveillance for decades now and will continue to. Have you ever tried to drive back to the US from Mexico without going through a checkpoint? Good luck with that. Sanctuary city is just a bull crap term puked out on AM radio and Fox News. If you want to change laws then change laws instead of shouting slogans.

Yes whatever legal sanction applies. Now are you in favor of sanctuary cities and at the same time want people who knowingly hire the illegals jailed? If so can you resolve the inherent conflict?

It's the term the people who create them designate, so if no one can hire the illegals in the sanctuary states and sanctuary cities what is to be done with them?

So your argument is the law is right because it's the law?

That's a legalistic argument you know that right?

I think it has to do with does socialist romanticism. They like the idea of never working sitting on their butt and getting paid to do it. I say Romanticism because it doesn't happen. The Soviets use the hammer and sickle not a couch and a remote as their symbols.

Union Butchers were high paying jobs. Your buddies candy plant is no doubt staffed with illegals with obviously phony documents. When they start locking guys like him up and letting the locals make a decent wage, then get back to me. Until then, spare me the crap about sanctuary cities and invasions from the southern border.

HB1 workers are here legally. You would prefer to shut down a plant.

I would shut down the meatpacking plants that knowingly hire undocumented workers and lock up the owners and managers. Damn right.

These people are the worst of the worst offenders.

You make it sound like it was just a simple accident.

You were the one suggesting that landlords, car dealerships and banks be jailed for dealing with Mexican Nationals. I suggested that first there has to be a law enacted to make it mandatory for those entities to check citizenship. Of course it’s a legalistic argument. Get a grip champ,

I guess that’s why your buddy from Dallas went down and picked off a bunch of them in El Paso the other day....At least that’s what he said.

I wasn't suggesting that. I was suggesting that it is not the employer's job to do police work. What cities and governments should be doing.

Just like it's not landlords jobs or Banks or dealerships jobs to enforce immigration.

Aloft singling out employers is stupid.

congratulations Captain obvious for stating the obvious and missing the point.

Do you realize how stupid a legalistic argument is? if you say something is right to because it's legal then you believe slavery was right because it was legal.

Get a grip, and a little better command of the English language.

It wasn't legal for them to be here where the hell is your legalistic argument now?

At least they got a free ride home.
