2011 – The Department of Homeland Security completes 649 miles of barriers, including 350 miles of pedestrian fencing, at an estimated $6.5 million per mile, and 299 miles of vehicle barriers that cost approximately $1.7 million per mile. But $1 billion spent on a pilot program for “virtual surveillance” in Arizona yields only 53 miles of coverage. With the backing of the DHS, the Obama administration cuts funding for the rest of the hyper-expensive “virtual wall.”

According to governmental data, the Obama administration has deported more people than any other president's administration in history.
In fact, they have deported more than the sum of all the presidents of the 20th century.

The ship is going to sink anyway. He's just putting them in the cargo hold so they'll be the first to drown.

    Seems appropriate to me.

If the ship's not taking on water then they have nothing to worry about, do they?

I see, you have no faith in the R's running the ship.
    Don't blame you, actually.

Democrats are the one who drilled the hole in the ship's haul, proverbially speaking.

The ship took on water, but the Left denied it.
So Trump said "If there's no water in the hold, why don't YOU go down there?"

Democrats won't let Trump plug the hole.
I think there's something subconscious in them that WANTS to take everyone else down.

The LA Times exposed Obama's fake numbers:

(Obama's) High deportation figures are misleading

WASHINGTON — Immigration activists have sharply criticized President Obama for a rising volume of deportations, labeling him the "deporter in chief" and staging large protests that have harmed his standing with some Latinos, a key group of voters for Democrats.

But the portrait of a steadily increasing number of deportations rests on statistics that conceal almost as much as they disclose. A closer examination shows that immigrants living illegally in most of the continental U.S. are less likely to be deported today than before Obama came to office, according to immigration data.

Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009.

On the other side of the ledger, the number of people deported at or near the border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency's deportation statistics.

The vast majority of those border crossers would not have been treated as formal deportations under most previous administrations. If all removals were tallied, the total sent back to Mexico each year would have been far higher under those previous administrations than it is now.

I know, the R's never accomplish anything because of the big bad D's.
We get it, the right is responsible for nothing, they actually do nothing but point fingers and blame all others.

The number of people deported at or near the [U.S.-Mexico] border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency’s deportation statistics.

The vast majority of those border crossers would not have been treated as formal deportations under most previous administrations. If all removals were tallied, the total sent back to Mexico each year would have been far higher under those previous administrations than it is now.

Until recent years, most people caught illegally crossing the southern border were simply bused back into Mexico in what officials called “voluntary returns,” but which critics derisively termed “catch and release.” Those removals, which during the 1990s reached more 1 million a year, were not counted in Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s deportation statistics.

Now, the vast majority of border crossers who are apprehended get fingerprinted and formally deported. The change began during the George W. Bush administration and accelerated under Obama. The policy stemmed in part from a desire to ensure that people who had crossed into the country illegally would have formal charges on their records.

In the Obama years, all of the increase in deportations has involved people picked up within 100 miles of the border, most of whom [had] just recently crossed over. In 2013, almost two-thirds of deportations were in that category.

Note the change to how they were counted was started by Bushkie.
And to give them a record.

Snopes? Obama counted people turned away at the border as deportations.

Who crossed illegally. I fail to see a problem why they don't count.

Deportation implies they were arrested and forcefully sent back.

    At least to most people.

Counting other people is dishonesty inflating those numbers.

To count people who previously were recorded and than deported, and than entering illegally, get caught, to than deport them again... seems totally fair of counting. That's what happened.

I get it. Libs want open borders for future votes.

But then why should all of the illegals stay in Texas? Why shouldn’t they be sent to Nancy Pelosi’s district? Or to NYC?

Which Democrats have said they will support Senator Grahams legislation to close down border crossing and illegal entries?
