Every election official in every district of every state has officially reported that other than a few errors and a very few attempts to vote twice or vote on behalf of the deceased, this election was without fraud of the kind that would change the results. Do you realize that there is absolutely nothing inconsistent between my post and yours? I am describing an evolution in how states changed their process from electors with total political autonomy and why. You tell me that they have changed, and that they could change back. Its only in every one of the 50 states that provide for an election, that it is a political 'order' rather than a suggestion. I provide some wiggle room for you. In those states where the state legislature has ever intervened, producing a result inconsistent with that vote tally in the last century, its to be seen as a 'suggestion' rather than an order. In those states that choose to discontinue the ballot process, the political 'order' will be rescinded.

 

So conservatives would have been okay with Democrats convincing four Electors in 2000 to vote for Gore instead of Bush???

What do people in the airport have to do with the way we voted? If you mean that they wouldn't need mail-in ballots because they don't seem afraid to travel, that isn't much of an analogy because there's no way to tell whether these people voted by mail, or even voted at all. They could have voted in person, on election day or in early voting if their state had that. They could have voted by mail, but going to see grandma on Thanksgiving was an emotional response stripped of reason.

Stupid exists regardless of ideology. The only thing you've accomplished here is to prove my point, that you will refuse to believe that the election is over and Trump lost regardless of how many facts are presented to you.
