When a kid is in school they teach you the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

It's not.

Imagine Space-Time distance as a string.

With my question, God could tell us what needs to be implemented to make it happen. If we already have the means, that's cool too 'cause I can ask what was the inspiration to create it all.

God exists. Every single particle, space, power, everything is the manifestation of God.

What an amazing question! Now where to start with a response?
Begin by discounting everything you ever learned that was meant as a means of controlling you and the society you live in. We have had this stuff drilled into us, and it's been presented as "knowledge", but it was originated by people who knew only that they want to control you.
Beyond that, I suggest long and close study of the roots of belief. The original transcript of the Bagavad Gita is a great source. Never mind the versions that are full of some Yogis' interpretations. The original is only about 58 pages. Look very hard at what compelled Buddha to "not know" Hinduism, and seek a more pure truth.
In the course of a lifetime, we can find bits and pieces, much as Joseph Campbell did. In the course of forever, we all nail it.

 

And this is not enough proof of human devastation upon the planet and its fragile ecosystems? Humans have obviously overstayed their welcome and are just too rude or downright stupid to realize it yet. Humans actually add nothing to enhance the well being of this place called Earth. Useless parasites and if they have a creator, he/she/it is one lousy and sadistic engineer.

 

Decades ago God and I reached a mutual agreement. In exchange for me not pestering Him with prayers asking Him for stuff we both know He won't do anyway I get to not waste my life pretending to worship Him.

So far we are both happy with this arrangement and when He and I had a chat not so long ago He mentioned that He wished more people would do the same.

In essence way too many people have this silly small-child-to-male-parent concept of God. Having an Adult-to-Adult relationship is much saner and healthier.

So the next time I bump into Him my question will probably be along the lines of asking Him how He is doing these days. Then we will shoot the breeze, drink some good wine and have a good chuckle about the fundies who pretend to "know-what-god-wants".

If you're interested in God actually talking, you'll have to commit to a fast. Have your starting question ready. The fast should be committed for 3 days. No food, no water...at all. Usually, by the 2nd day you'll have a response and it will be as clear as day. If you don't care about fasting, ask your question aloud, preferably by a tree or in a forest. You'll have an answer, but the response time varies wildly and the answer is hardly clear.

I bumped up my question plus offer in 1999............… based on information derived especially from one book.... and one article........

Back in 1990.... I postulated non-linear time to YHWH..... I told H-m that I was willing to go back to when Adolf Hitler was two years of age..... YHWH could bump off or otherwise remove Adolf's dad out of the picture.... and hook me up with Adolf's mom.... and I would raise the little guy.... and apply principles elaborated on by Dr.Ross Campbell and Dr. Gary Smalley...… and do my best to set up little Adolf to NOT be a sociopath with egomaniacal and genocidal tendencies .........?????????

Back around '88 or '89 or so I went for 72 hours.......and although I didn't feel particularly spiritual during it........ .some really strange things did occur that altered the course of the rest of my life?!

................ I will explain somewhat......… I went all the way through Grade 7 - 12 and never got into even one serious fist fight!

I almost got into a fight with Mr. Lloyd Hape in Grade 7.......(1972 or '73)..… I forget what Lloyd said that so $%@#ed me off but I challenged him to meet me in a certain time at a certain place........... and I would give him a quarter...… (which would buy a pop at the canteen at that time)!

Lloyd showed up.... right on time........ all alone and........ and I really liked the fact that Lloyd showed up all by himself....... I also was alone...… neither of us bothered to take along buddies......… although I had many!

I visualized hitting Lloyd......… and just couldn't see hitting him....... because I thought it was pretty classy that he had showed up...… with no audience.... so I gave Lloyd a quarter and Lloyd and I got along quite well after that......… Well.... after that

Well.... in '88 or '89 when I fasted for three days..... I almost got into another fist fight........ I actually hit somebody......… who laughed at me........... and the fight ended there..... and I got along pretty good with them after that as well?????????!

 

Haha strange things do occur when fasting. It seems to me that things move more favorably for the person fasting. There are temptations to get you to break the fast too, but the commitment itself gets things moving your way. Interesting story by the way. Thanks for sharing!
