    As an Illinois resident and possessor of a carry permit, I'm glad to see this crack in the idiot carry laws. I find it stupefying that there are people that believe that laws stop criminals. If someone is bent on shooting someone, that silly "NO GUNS" sign is not going to stop them. There are only two things that might stop a crime: The swift and sure punishment and a physical barrier. If parks and restaurants are not prepared to scan or search everyone, the sign is a joke.

    State supreme court cases can only be appealed to the SCotUS.

    It won't be going to the 9th Circus, so it might actually have a chance. Actually has anyone looked at the circuit court map? That thing needs to be redrawn or new circuits added, its ridiculous as is...
