Bulgarian music is better than any other music. I might love the US and American culture, but the beauty of the Bulgarian language and music can never be found anywhere. No Russian, American, English, French, German, Spanish or Italian can match that.

    Popular Bulgarian Journalist Victoria Marinova

    Raped And Beaten To Death

A popular Bulgarian journalist who had reported on an investigation into alleged corruption involving European Union funds was raped and beaten to death, authorities said.

The semi-nude body of 30-year-old Victoria Marinova was found in a park in the Danube town of Ruse on Saturday. She’d been beaten with such force that she was unrecognizable, according to the Federation of European Journalists.

    Well? <foot tapping sound>

Bush, my alibi is that: Maybe God doesn't want you to have one? Everything is by God's will and approval.

One of the very best modern Bulgarian songs:

    The lyrics are extraordinary.

Don't take it wrong, but I have a lot of difficulties with that kind of music, or the precedent one. It's sounds like music you can hear everywhere, the words change, the language change, the music doesn't.
There were so much different kind of music around the world, and now there is almost nothing left.

    You sure about that?

The many varieties of Spanish are incredibly beautiful whether sung or spoken. This is also true of all other Romance language with Occitan in particular. Over the years I have listened to centuries old folk and troubadour music from Spain, Portugal, Italy. Seems like the languages of these past eras were more beautiful than the modern ones. Spanish-Arabic in particular was extraordinary. Today, Ladino is utterly beautiful.

Wish I knew your language just to see whether what you say is or isn't true!

I know. Or the mumble rap, it's funny. At least in this song, they don't sing about whores, bottles poppin and some dope. They're singing about parents, family, etc.

Maybe slight difo, Aus. And it's explainable. All these "modern singers" and "performers" get their tracks, purchase them from a small bunch of DJs, and get their lyrics from some ghost writers copywriters, whatever, sing some sh*t and post as "original content".

Speaking about extremism.. Your Canada flag on your post awfully reminds me of the Nazi Waffen SS Algiz rune. Google it. The Algiz rune, really. Doesn't look like a leaf.

    Coincidence? I don't think so.

    Thank you for the evidence.

I have been sounding the Fire Bell about :flagcanada: before it was popular.
Are you suggesting it wasn't you but, "them"?
What about YOU following the Lord's assignment? As you indicated earlier.

I meant to say what I said... "Yak Tam"....how's it going. No I had no intention to use Russian if I did Inwould have said "Kak tam" .

But why use a barbaric language of that KGB slug Putin when I can use the civilized language of Taras Shevchenko.

    @PARTIZAN1

No such phrase on Bulgarian. No “yak tam”.

“Yak” means “strong”, and “tam” means “there”.

“Yak tam” would literally translate into nonsense. Doesn’t have any meaning.

I was not trying to use the Bulharska mova! Where my parents came from "yak " is how and " tam" is there. In a slang phrase "yak tam" is " how goes it". The language of my parents does not use the " G" too often. A general is a " heneral" and Galicia is Halycia or Halichyna. The skies are blue, the wheat fields are golden yellow. Where is that!

Now it makes sense. This sounds Czech. Large numbers of Bulgarians escaped to Czechoslovakia after Bulgaria (at the time ally of Nazi Germany) was occupied by the Red Army at the end of the second world war. Makes sense. Totally.

    Zlatna Dobruja.

    Current – Dobrich area.

Actually my parents are (were) from Ukraine but I was born in a refugee camp in Germany where they were taken to forced labor camps during WWII. They are from Halychina ( Western Ukraine).

Zlatna in Ukrainian is Zolotna = Golden.. How do you pronounce Dobruja? Dobruya? Or Dobruzha? What does it mean?

You must know that Bulgarian is related to Church Slavonic which was a language used to spread Christianity to the Slavonic peoples. Church Slavonic was used in the Mass in Eastern Rite Catholic Churches until 50 years ago. The Czechs, Poles, and maybe Lithuanians went full blown Latin.
