In 50 years will America be majority Anglo/Germanic still?

That depends upon how strict the radio station is in adhering to a genre.

Apparently there was a reading comprehension problem because the statement was, "Or maybe it isn't the music at all but instead is reflective of possible racial prejudices country music fans may have in which case the music is associated with racism by those that aren't racially prejudiced. That would kind of suck because some country music is pretty good and shouldn't be dismissed because the fans might be racially prejudiced."

The FANS of country that display anti-black racial prejudice or explicit racism create a problem for country music. While it may hard to determine what type of music a person likes based upon the car or truck they drive if you see one with a Confederate flag, a blatant symbol of racism, you'd probable make money betting that the owner listens to country music. Not always true but probably true over 50% of the time.

As I also mentioned country music itself gets a bad rap because of the racial prejudice of so many of it's fans and that's a pity. There's some very good country music that's worth listening to but many people are more genre oriented and don't expand their musical appreciation beyond that genre.

Already addressed because this relates to a misreading of what I stated. If you try reading the actual statement then it would save a lot of wasted words. Personally I don't let the racial prejudice of country fans affect my appreciation of some country music but then I'm open to all music genres and judge the music based upon the music and not what others might think.

This returns to the issue of genre loyalty. How likely is it that a person that listens to R&B, soul music, rap, hip-hop or other music generally associated with black artists is going to hear Dolly Parton's version? Not likely. Musical rearrangement taking a song from one genre to another has been going on forever. It introduces it to a new audience that otherwise wouldn't have heard it.

So let's check out fan loyalty to a genre. If we assume you're a country music fan can we ask how often do you listen to hip-hop, rap, or gangsta music you listen to? Do you have one of the pre-sets on your car radio set to a station that plays these genres? Perhaps you can answer another question. How many country artists have taken a "soul" song, maybe something from Smokey Robinson or Aretha Franklin and rearranged it into a country song? Do you have an example of that? I'm sure it must have happened. Do you have any Smokey Robinson or Aretha Franklin albums or CD's?

Allow this stuff to happen? Bullied?

Let's set the record straight. It's impossible for a white protestant (male) to be "bullied" (oppressed or discriminated against) in the United States because the white protestant (males) have always controlled the social, economic, and political institutions in America. Only those that control the social, economic, and political institutions are capable of discrimination and oppression.

That's really what this thread is all about. The White Protestant (Males), referred to in this thread as the Anglo-Germanic demographic, are deeply concerned that when they become a minority that they will be oppressed because they've been the oppressors for so long in America. They're afraid that if they lose the power to be the oppressor that they will become the oppressed.

It's too bad because if they would have adopted the ideology that America was founded upon that "all men (people) are created equal" then we wouldn't be living in a nation of racial, religious, cultural, and gender prejudice where discrimination and oppression (bullying) occurs. In a twisted sense they're training their future oppressors with their own prejudice, discrimination, and oppression today.

PS - Of course you can't get anymore "Anglo-Germanic" than I am which is why I'm working today to change the others in my demographic group to end the prejudice, discrimination and oppression and to adopt the American ideology that "all men (people) are created equal" so that when the Anglo-Germanic demographic becomes the minority the nation will have forgotten what prejudice, discrimination, and oppression is.

There are many people who think when whites become a tiny minority it will mean an end to racism and help usher in a new era of equality. Well obviously these people haven't taken a look at places like India or Mexico, where very few people in the population are pure anything but a caste system still exists, and the amount of inequality is far higher than the U.S. or Europe.

I think the racism that will be seen from people of color will make the KKK look like quoir boys. White anglos freed the darker skinned slaves but if we had depended upon people of color to free white slaves, slave labor plantations or something similar would still exist. What is the shade of skin that is still selling and owning slaves today?

Like I said, they only base these things on current trends, and they have been wrong plenty of times before. I'm not too worried about it. Lol.

 

Isn't it the case that Euro-Americans and minorities, on average, still have the same amount of children, only that the minorities, on average, are having their first child earlier in life?

A few years ago, I read this statistic somewhere, but can't recall if it was for America, Germany or Sweden (I know it was one of them) and I am too lazy to do the research again.
