I expect people to use their brains and not their reactions, like Pavlov's dogs salivating when a bell rings. So, if this wasn't a hate crime how would you describe it?

Boy but you're a real deep thinker.

I'm not failing to distinguish between anything...

It's a fact 33% of Muslims have no problem with terrorist attacks...... You like those odds in a revolver playing Russian roulette?

How many terrorist attacks around the world to we really need for people like you to understand?

Yea, some are upstanding good citizens but most are bad......

    This looks staged.

The muslim woman was shopping with her "Canada" shirt on and attacked by another woman who pulled her hijab down and pulled her hair. And there's an article about it? wtf?

Very true it happens all the time but maybe every now and then there comes a time to draw people's attention to this. Most attacks on Muslims are on Muslim women.

    C'mon.....

Well look at the information given. You forgotten Brevik? That not serious enough for you? Only this weekend a much respected British MP was murdered because of her political stance. The priority lead for the police is his far right links - including to the US. After this it came out that several of our MP's have received death threats from people with far right views in the last couple of years. As the report suggests that is possibly a bigger threat to Europe than Islam extremists - but do we hear people ranting about them. No we just hear them ranting about Muslims every day.

Well that's what happens when you steal peoples rights - your own citizens rights and give them to others...... You want sympathy for those two attacks that are separated by many years, and many nations, but today there will be numerous attacks by Muslims around the world?

Well, it's a very unfortunate story. If it's discovered that the assault was motivated by religion, I hope Canada has hate crime laws in place to deal with that sort of public menace. Sad state of affairs regardless of atrocities occurring elsewhere.

You can say what you like........ You know who is condoning terrorism? Europeans by letting them into their damn country. No, that is welcoming terrorism in the name of the few that may be ok.

    Oh you certainly (*)(*)(*)(*)ing would...

Look, I remember when that lucid dreamer dude shot Giffords in the head and the MSM was all ready to blame it on republicans - they found some poor dude that happened to be a republican and (*)(*)(*)(*)ing blamed it on him and he sued their asses off and won.

So don't (*)(*)(*)(*)ing say .... "Well.. No I wouldn't have"....

Look you don't let 10 radicals into your nation because 3 may be "ok"... That's called being stupid and asking for problems er perhaps even terrorist attacks on a larger scale.

You were condoning terrorism. You responded to a post about European far right terrorism including Breivik and the murder last weekend of a Labour Female MP - the first ever political murder of a woman in the UK, by saying
You are saying terrorism is justified - of course the stuff about stealing of rights must come from one of your sources trying to excite hate, similar to what the murderer was in contact with.

The truth came out of you. Not a word of horror at the idea of a woman politician being murdered when serving her people for serving her people, No just that the murderer was pushed to terrorism. I know where you stand. It is no surprise and that is why Europe and almost certainly the US and Canada as well are in more danger from far right extremists and far right terrorism than Islam, particularly because it is not being watched to the same degree.

You are engaging with a person who thinks it perfectly reasonable to go shooting his guns while drunk. No further comment is necessary, frankly...

    Who cares?

Do Europeans not realize there won't be a reaction to their reactionary politics?

People die all day every day here in Chicago....... Is that an issue to anyone? oh yeah the only issue is progressives trying to ban guns --- like gangsters buy guns legally in the first (*)(*)(*)(*)ing place..........

So no - I DON'T CARE - if anything - that is the problem!

When your "guests" are raping your woman and (*)(*)(*)(*)ting in your pools and beating the snot-bubbles out of you for being in a "Muslim Zone" you know you have a serious issue and that issue isn't me...

Odds are irrelevant when you’re promoting randomly attacking people on the street because they are (or you think they look like) Muslims. Even if your statistic were correct, it would mean 66% of Muslims don’t support terrorist attacks yet you don’t care if those people are attacked. I doubt you even see them as people at all.

Some Americans are good at maths but most are bad.

I promoted nothing - try again!!

I said I really don't care..... Of course in progressive language that translates into "kill all that isn't like me"......

    Oh and odds?

Well you go ahead and put 2 in the 6, spin it and you're still not there yet.... Like those odds?

I think you are correct to have doubt.

It could be this woman is angry about the attack on our parliament buildings in 2014 by radicalized Muslim, or, the Toronto 18 famous case where 18 of these radical Muslims planned and subsequently caught in planning to bomb civilian areas and the parliament buildings in 2006.

Or any of any number of other Religion of Peace horror stories that have happened in Canada, or, around the world.

Or maybe she is ex military and has pent up anger or PTSD type issues. Maybe she is a homosexual, and is angry about one of the more current atrocities of the Religion of Peace regarding homosexuals.

It could be she has been a victim of the rape culture of the Religion of Peace, which all countries across the planet experience daily.

In any event...you are correct to have doubt. Certainly she is angry, and there is no doubt about that. Exact reason for her anger, when there are so many possibilities, does hold a good reason to have doubt though.

Given some of the responses here from the Right....

is it REALLY that hyperbolic or exaggerated or "insulting" to say

Some of the Right would be cool with yellow arm-bands, Nuremburg Laws, or even "re-location camps" for Muslims, including citizens?

As a white female living in a Western country, I'm much more likely to be assaulted, raped or killed by a white male than any other demographic; I hear about such assaults daily and have experienced them as wellI. I also regularly see and hear white men say surprisingly nasty things about women in general and "feminist" women in particular. Should I thus assume that all white men hate women, wish ill upon them, and rejoice if I hear of one who is attacked or killed? Does that make sense?

Because up till now, I've assumed that the men who viciously attack women in word or deed are not representative of all men, despite how often I hear, see or even experience such an attack. Perhaps this lifelong habit is why I haven't yet been able to blame all Muslims for the actions of a small percentage of them. Maybe I need to rethink my policy of blaming individuals for their behavior, and instead blame the larger group to which they belong.

OK where do you live in rural Kansas?

I can see why some or many white folks could see that but not in my area...

I still don't really get all this Nazi/Hitler stuff regarding Trump or anyone really on the "Right".

The truth of the matter, would be that the analogy would be more in line with Chamberlain from that era. Many people on the right give warning to address the situation properly rather than continuing putting ones political head in the sand, and caring more about political correctness than a successful policy on the numerous negative societal issues of the Religion of Peace in civilized western democratic societies.

Chamberlain, not Hitler or Nazism is the proper comparison to be made.
