In my lifetime both Democrats and Republicans spend like there is no tomorrow!

But here is the difference, and I know we have all heard of this many times. The Democrats pass a bill creating something which needs to be funded. They usually pass a revenue bill to pay for the something. Republicans do not provide funding for their programs, passing that responsibility on to the next fellow. I personally am more than a little tired of both of them, and come election time I find myself facing a choice of the lessor of who cares.

We tend to see only what they are looking for. There are more differences. Results!

Living in Los Angeles, in spite Dem super majority control and paying the highest taxes, CA leads the nation in poverty. Schools rank with the lowest, the gap between the rich and poor is huge with few in the middle, roads are crumbling in spite of 2 gas taxes and additional registration fees. Second amendment rights do not exist for us regular citizens.

Looking at results, there is no way to make a case that Dems care about anything but power. Neither party cares.

There is a difference between spending and investing. When you pay for education, infrastructure, social programs,... anything that strengthens the middle class,.... we get back our investment many times over. That money goes into the economy. It creates jobs, it creates wealth, ... When we give welfare to billionaires, the only thing that creates is a bigger income gap and poverty.

Don't pay attention to whether it's Democrats or Republicans who are spending. Ask yourself what will be the return on that money. You can be sure that tax breaks for billionaires has NEVER benefited the country.

If you plug your ears to the things they say, and ignore their rhetoric, but instead judge them on their deeds and their records, there is almost no difference between republicans and democrats.
