In the last century, socialism killed 100 MILLION people. But now we have a lot of radical left wing democrats that want to take us there again.

Demanding stuff that others worked hard for tends to kill the incentive to work hard. That's one way. Another is that central planning simply doesn't work, so you end up with lots of bodies and not enough body bags.

See, it might seem like free stuff at first, but nothing is free. The piper must be paid, and the peasantry will pay in blood.

 

Why work hard when there is an easier way? Jealousy from the past is no reason to stick to the old, hard way.

 

Lots of thieves think the same way. Why work hard for something when you can steal it?

This is one reason why we're going to keep our guns. They tend to complicate things for thieves considerably.

Tax is money stolen from somebody who worked hard for it. Not stealing something pays for itself because the thief gets nothing and the person who worked gets to keep what they own.

The past half century has worked so well for Cuba. They all live in socialism nirvana. Free school, free housing, free medical, and a job supplied.
