This is a bit different. I want to first explain why and how. Why is that it puts two sides up for discussion. How is at the end there is a vote. If you want to learn the results, simply move the time button right and find out the very end.

So, you will hear science being discussed. Not politics, but science. This is the real deal.

I have not guessed at the ending but believe it will line up with my thinking. That this is no crisis.

Enjoy and let's hit this hard.

Please, debate but only once you have mastered the topic. If you prejudge, you wasted your time and my time. Now I know, i prejudged. But it is a guess. Not a fact.

By the way, you can change your vote when you wish to.

What I do know is that I grew up in the 90s and the entire time I kept hearing about how the CO2 produced by the US alone was more than the world could handle and something needed to be done immediately or we would see massive rises in ocean levels and etc. etc. etc. Fast forward to to day and we have the Paris agreement which allows for not just the US but also the EU and more importantly China which produces as much CO2 as the US and EU combined to keep producing CO2 unfettered until 2030 at which time China will "consider" reducing the rate of emissions of CO2. in 20 years China went from producing only a fraction of what the US did to double what the US does and now we are supposed to sit around for another 13 years.

Either global warming was an existential crisis as I was told throughout the 90s and early 2000s or its not that big of a deal and we can wait another 13 years for the largest polluter to consider their options. This is why so many people no longer believe the hystrionics from the end of the world doom and gloomers.
