    As I've already mentioned, you won't find me defending any ME state.

    Were it not for a large portion of the worlds oil supply going through such a small area, I'm sure the US would be glad to back away and let the stone age reclaim all of them.

    There are no good actors in the ME. Whoever one side is allied with today will be on the other side tomorrow.

    All I'm doing is explaining that the people in Yemen aren't victims, they're just losing participants.

    If you don't think the people in Yemen would love to rape, murder and starve the population of SA, you'd be wrong.

    The only thing that will change in this scenario is which group of people are winning, and which are suffering.

    didn't stop trump from waving the "mission accomplished" flag

    the Oran deal was also a work in progress, Trump should of made a deal addressing the other issue, not started from scratch

    Just going by Wiki as a source, I don't see anything in Yemeni history that is particularly anti-Saud. Seems like Saudi Arabia interjected itself into Yemen when Hadi resigned and went to Saudi Arabia.

    On June 19th, German Chancellor Angela Merkel - no friend of the USA - stated that there was "strong evidence" that Iran was responsible for the attacks on the two oil tankers in the
    Gulf of Oman. She said she wanted the conflict resolved peacefully and said Germany would tell all sides and especially Iran "that the situation should not escalate." Apparently, judging
    by the fact that Iran shot down a US drone, Iran is not listening to Merkel.
