Trump aint going to war.
America First doesnt include an invasion of Iran
Iran is arming the other side. Do you think we'd need to arm them based on those pics?
I'm not justifying anything. I'm telling you why it happened.
It happened because a bunch of Yemeni's decided to overthrow their government, engage in terrorism, and attack civilians in Saudi Arabia.
That's the only reason it's happening.
I certainly hope so. But Bolton and Pompeo are doing everything in their power to embroil the US in another disastrous Middle Eastern war. And Trump, instead of slamming on the brakes and stopping this madness dead in its tracks, has allowed these two maniacs to continue escalating the situation, inching us closer and closer to a war. For this, Trump deserves to be harshly criticized. Indeed, Trump's decision to appoint Bolton in the first place was pure idiocy.
America first doesn't include any hostile acts towards Iran. This is all being done on behalf of Israel and Saudi Arabia, not America.
No, it's motivated by a desire to stop Yemeni terrorists from attacking them.
Another mess caused by Obama.
The Houthis overthrew the government because unilaterally pulled out of its power sharing agreement with them.
If the Democrats in our government decides to unilaterally remove all of the Republicans, would Republicans not fight back?
Yeah Iran just says "death to America". Figure of speech is all.
Defending two terrorist regimes in one day. That might be a record.
The fact tha5 they have not yet attacked Israel with WMDs does not prove that they never will
Your attempts to recadt Iran as Finland or Norway are not persuasive
How is it defending anything to point out basic truth? The Saudi-backed Yemeni government started the war in Yemen by trying to seize sole control of the political power.
No they aren't. The Houthis armed themselves with weapons that were imported by the US and Russia over several decades.
(The Washington Post) Pentagon loses track of $500 million in weapons, equipment given to Yemen
Do you think Iran would need to arm the Houthis when Yemen has been saturated with arms since the cold war?
It happened because the Saudi regime is evil and aggressive.
Their government was an oppressive puppet-regime.
And you think the Saudis object to the use of terrorism? Surely you jest!
Only in response to the Saudi blockade which is causing millions of innocent Yemenis to starve.
It's happening because the vicious Saudi regime has no qualms about committing mass murder.
So what has stopped them? You guys are claiming that the Mullahs are super psyched to become martyrs and would jump at the chance.
Well, they could do it right now. So why haven’t they?
Could it be because they don’t actually want to become martyrs themselves and only exploit the suicidal zeal of others for their own power and benefit?
It's motivated by a desire to impose their will on their neighbors. Houthi attacks on Saudi territory only happened in response to Saudi aggression.
The only reason they say such things is because of US imperialism in the region. Americans and Iranians have no natural quarrel with one another.
Says the guy trying to prettify the Saudi mass murder campaign against Yemen...
SA acted on behalf of the legal government against insurgents. Boo hoo.
Everyone is killing everyone in Yemen, even allies a year ago are killing each other now, and ISIS was running around killing whoever they could.
The people there are running around killing whoever they feel like killing today, and have been doing so since 600 AD.
The bottom line is it's a **** hole country that is culturally violent and always has been.
Ah yes. "US imperialism". Spreading the US empire by protecting the worlds oil shipments.
Soon we will capture Saturn and add that to the empire.
The “legal government” ceased to exist when it illegal sought to seize sole contro of political power in the country.
For that point on, it was just the Saudi-puppet government.
US Arms to the Yemeni government.
Iran to the Yemeni terrorists.
It happened because Yemeni's like to kill each other and always have. SA didn't start a civil war in Yemen.
All ME governments are ****. Nothing new.
Millions of Yemeni's were starving before the Arab Spring uprisings that happened under Obama.
Well, as long as the government was "legal", then it doesn't matter how corrupt or abusive they were. Excellent point.
And yet the biggest perpetrator of violence in Yemen by a wide margin is undoubtedly the Saudi invaders.
Yes I'm sure when the Houthis gain control, the milk and honey will flow and no child will have a tear in their eye.
Don't make me laugh.
Yeah, that would be the terrorist perspective right there.
Yeah because when you start taking over a country by force you'd expect everyone to be well fed.
Americans and Iranians both have a natural quarrel with the Iranian government.
The Iranian people being abused under their militant Islamism aren't our enemies.
That’s the real world perspective. Do you think the Houthis just decided to go to war on a whim? The war started when the government tried to back out of its power sharing agreement with the Houthis.
I never said Saudi Arabia started a civil war. I said they are responsible for starving millions of innocent people in Yemen. And because Trump's government is complicit in that atrocity, you have sought to minimize Saudi culpability by shifting blame to the Houthis and Iran.
Separate names with a comma.
