Ah, but you only think that because they come to you in a nice suit, and an admirable appearance. They don’t have to see the blood and flesh scattered on the streets. All they have to do is sign a paper, and the military will do all the work. Expand your horizons, man!

There are Burger Kings and Pizza Huts in locations all over the Muslim world; we have Saudi Arabians beginning to experience techno- raves; and then there’s the dollar and American/Western finance as a whole dominating the globe...and you want to tell us that “Islam” wants to “spread the religion with the sword.”

Remember, it was the West that formed the artificial nation-states of Muslim lands, and instituted Western notions of governance after WWII. You may not be erecting Abrahamic places of worship, but you’re erecting something alright!

I honestly can’t think of many Islamic theocracies besides Iran, and that’s because it Shiite. Sunnis don’t believe in theocracies, and the Caliphate is a secular position, as opposed to the Imam.

Islam didn’t have the same past that Christianity did in Europe. Like I said, you keep saying “Islam,” but all you have today is Muslim majority nation-states based on Western notions of governance and finance- and increasingly so. You speak of “reform,” but the Qur’an is pretty clear on this....
