So if Trump wanted to invade Timbuktu with NATO troops, he's free to do so without congressional approval?

I don't believe that's what the Founders intended. I think the Constitution is very clear on this question.

Why did Obama commit the worst foreign policy mistake since Neville Chamberlain “appeased” Hitler ?? Was he stupid or corrupt ??

That’s absurd. The US hater emerges. You owe the truth an apology for the abuse you just heaped on it.

That's all very interesting and if I search it further I might find some merit in it .... BUT the bottom line is that the puppets (that we call presidents) are getting gazillions to be "fall guys" and NATO is the master's corporal that decides nothing about anything. If it did the illegal invasion of Irak or Libya or Syria would not have taken place. A "NATO war" is just a proxy of responsibility, a red herring when you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

    Yes.
No one is threatening Israel with obliteration. Statements to the contrary are just Zionist rhetoric in order to weasel more aid from the mother ship, the District of Columbia.
What are you waiting for? :frustrated:

I agree with Trump on most things, but, if I were him, those troops would all be home by now.

Ignorance is nothing to be ashamed of unless you are being voluntarily selective about it. Well?

I am only curious to know why you think they should come home and why you think they aren't already home?

I believe we have somewhere around 1000 troops in Syria and 5200 in Iraq. They should come home because they have completed their mission against ISIS, and Syria and Iraq do not belong to us.

Ehm ... was / is Bush Jr. a Liberal?

And otherwise ... here in the forum many righties were not tired of telling the wetl that the US oil reserves for the United States loosely and you do not rely on the oil in the ME. Are they lying now?

Correct ... but be aware! The trolls will no twist all in the direction that it is all the guilt of Obama, because he ordered the retreat out of Iraq ... no matter that this was the will of 2/3 of all Americans to get out of this mess and Obama only followed the will of the people.

On TruNews, this is the 20th, they are talking about a British General or someone who said that to invade Iran the US would need 1 million boots on the ground. They spoke about where they would come from and seemed to think around 100,000 is all that they could easily come up with - that is near the 120,000 already suggested. They then started wondering where they could get the rest and thought maybe around 350,000 would be got from the ME. They then saw that was still far short and suggested a draft of the American young. They could see Bolton doing this and pointed out, there would be not one Israeli risking their lives. The people of the US would be giving up their lives for Israel and Christian Zionism but no Israelis would be fighting and dying. Then they came to 'it would need one hell of a.... to get people to agree with that'. Not suggesting that will happen but it has to be a possibility. Watch the news ;)

First, I would hardly wish to compare Donald Trump with Adolf Hitler.

And President Trump is really very candid. If he really did want war with Iran, I would not expect him to say so in so many words; but he might say something like "Iran is pushing for war; and if war is really what they want, then it is certainly what they will get."

No I am saying that I do not see anyone in NATO joining you...though Jeremy Hunt is beginning to make sounds like they might try and get the UK to go.

I wonder is this applies to the Iranian forces working with terrorists in Iraq.

They used to claim to have a liberal bias but that has gone. They are neo liberals. News 24 through the night was good news. Things did not get censored as they came in and later were. The people speaking were experts on the situation. They were not interested in political slant, just on reality and I checked today and immediately found a link seconding this. You are doing the usual US thing. If it was your party no problem. The other big problem though both were doing much the same.

and you have left out the reality that they went in once again full of arrogance that they were the superior intellectually as well as militarily and while militarily is correct, you got this like all your mid east things wildly wrong intellectually and the reason for that is simple. You were not going in for the reasons you were telling either your civilians or your soldiers. Listening to the TruNews I mention above, I think some people in the US do not put much value on the lives of enlisted American military. If they start enlisting as they were suggesting, that will change double quick.

Washington did not commit all those crimes, but they wouldn't have occurred if we didn't invade Iraq illegally. Are you saying Iraq and the whole Middle East today is safer and better off than it was before our interference - or not?

Problem with Trump is he has already threatened to commit genocide on Iran. Oh what was it I was reading today basically something suggesting that if you attack Iran they will not back down like Iraq, they are not alone like Iraq was and they will fight very hard to the bitter end. The writer thought the US would not want to go down in history as the most murderous regime ever.

Again, WTH are you going on about. The Iraqi Sunnis hated everything about the US. You had just sacked half of the Iraqi Sunni population leaving then destitute. You clearly don't know anything about this subject
