Yeah and typical Ego, can't acknowledge the risk so pivots to Orangeman bad. I don't know why I try to help you think past your Trump hate and consider long term issues with your thought process.

Can anyone point me to something positive Democrats have done or been a part of since Trump took office?

    Serious question.

I feel like they've done nothing but attack Trump. Maybe try passing a bill or something?

It's a lot of small stuff, since the House isn't going to waste their time trying for big ticket items with McConnell waiting to stomp it out... but it's something...

Infrastructure, for instance, got put on the scrap heap until 2021 today...

Or to contradict Trump today, Congress CAN "Investigate and Legislate" at the same time... just because he's not capable of multi-tasking doesn't mean others aren't...

Why wouldn't he invoke executive privilege?

    I don't know.. excellent question...

As I said, I expect he will, but not until he has to.... he has loyal soldier Mnuchin deflecting arrows at this point, but he will shortly fall to the wayside.. In the game Stratego, you send out the 9's and 7's to get killed first...

I'm not sure how you can claim executive privilege for returns BEFORE he was president, but I'm sure he'll pull something out of his ass...

Then he’ll have to explain to a judge why the privilege applies, which he won’t be able to do.

You're not a tax expert? Well, I'm an expert taxpayer having been one for many a year. As for the chairman of the House Ways and means, he's a Democrat and by definition see value in everything that may hurt Trump in his efforts to Make America Great Again. And he thinks, he has ways and means to do so. Not.

    Simple, really :)

All depends on if the judge is a Democrat activist or... a judge.

What useful to the American people has this House done so far?

Other than investigating Trump, letting Ocasio-Cortez make an ass of them and bashing Israel... not much else :nana:

To be fair, will anyone in Congress be able to make heads or tails of what they are looking at?

Meh I think an inactive Congress is a good Congress

I think the court may order him to turn over the portions of his tax returns that pertain to Russia in anyway, I doubt they will allow a free for all fishing expedition.

What are you really hoping for Trump’s returns to show? That he paid too little in taxes? IRS already looked into it. Anything else?
