Its a lot of media hype. Vaccinated people are going to hospitals and dying as well. Not just unvaccinated. And given the facts we already know, if you die from Covid you fall into the over 90% who die from Covid with ongoing Immune deficiency or pre existing reparation problems. We also know that those who are only vaccinated are 27 times more likely to be hospitalized than those who are unvaccinated that already had Covid. My brother in law already had Covid 6 months ago but his job in the movie industry (Camera Crane) required he get vaccinated. So he did it and 5 days later he is in the hospital with two blood clots in his legs.

You don't have nurses and doctors walking out of hospitals and losing their jobs for not vaccinating because they are all stupid. If you are healthy you have nothing to worry about. If you have a medical deficiency you should consider the benefits.

I have had it along with my wife and both kids. I'm 62 and it was about the same as having a cold. Just felt tired most of the time. And you will never reach herd immunity with only vaccinated people.

 

What my ex told me is not media hype. She told me that 100% of those in her hospital who are really sick and in ICU with Covid are unvaccinated. Some as young as 25. She has no reason to lie about it. I have not seen the stats on people hospitalized with Covid in other states vaccination rates at this point, but with what I know from her hospital it sure seems that the vaccinated are less likely to become hospitalized than those who are fully vaccinated. Again I do not pretend to be an expert regarding these issues but there are different views. She also said that not one employee in her hospital has refused to get the vaccine in fact she said they were all trying to get it as soon as they could. She was 64 with a heart condition so she got it right after it was released but some of her coworkers had to wait for over a month.

Only one problem with that idea - in the society we live in today, many people believe that it is OK to cheat and break laws to get what they want - they run elections.

 

I may disagree with her about Covid but you can tell her for me, I appreciate her service and what she is doing to help Americans. Where would we be without our nurses. They all deserve the medal of honor.

I am with you there Condor. Also, I hope that we do reach an immunity level here in America and put this crap behind us soon. I’m not sure what the answers are but I really wish it would quit being a political football and that it becomes something we can all work together at to eradicate it as a deadly entity. My ex treated te first Covid patient in California right off an airplane from a ski trip in Switzerland a year and a half ago and contracted it and was sick for two weeks but not hospitalized. She gets really pissed when people come in off the streets unvaccinated for treatment. She was mad at me for hesitating to get mine until last month. I sure am not going to argue with her.

That wasn't my point. My point is that as usual, the right is fear-mongering, keeping their base convinced that the Democrats are doing "scary things" and must be stopped.

The answer is pretty simple as far as I can see. If these politicians wouldn't knowingly lie about it, you would have more people participating.

All they would have to do is stop masking kids, recognize the people who already had Covid are protected, then we could have a honest conversation about those who have neither. I am in no way against people getting vaccinated. And right now, we have more people vaccinated for a single virus than any other time in history. Will they recognize that? Nope

The fact that hospitals are filling up explains how this was a manufactured bug. Nothing moves this fast. Look how many were infected and died in a very short amount of time before a vaccine was available. And I'm afraid its going to get worse before it gets better. Even if we had double the amount of people getting vaccinated right now, I'm afraid we would still be over run with hospitalized people.

This bug was engineered to be more infectious with higher rates of out of body survivability and very fast cellular reproduction. Which is why we have never seen any SARS or flu viruses in the past that can move at this speed. And most die of suffocation. Their lungs turn into sponges absorbing moisture until oxygenation is no longer possible. And they die alone, without family. It ain't pretty. I don't wish this on anyone. Even people that don't know any better. Its just really sad.

If you want a real social model to look at to give you are real model of whats to come, you should take a look at Israel. They are at 80% vaccinated right now. I think you will find it fascinating what they know and share with the public compared to what is going on here. So you have to ask yourself, what are they doing different to have the highest success rate of vaccinated population compared to everyone else in the world. Its also the reason most Covid scientist are there doing studies as they have the largest living population of vaccinated people on the planet.

You should check this out. Share it with your wife. Its not a politicized report. Its just a report on the actual numbers and what they are finding out.

Biden is not a dictator, but like every President he presses the limits of his authority. It’s inevitable and that’s the reason we need a strong Constitution limiting government power.

 

The more inaction we see in congress, the more pushing of executive orders by presidents.

 

Actually, I think Congress has ceded power to the President because they don’t want to vote on controversial issues. Let the blame fall on someone else.

No more than Trump or Obama. All three used/ using executive orders to govern basically trying to bypass congress. But since Nixon, I think the phrase imperial presidency applies. Congress over time has ceded a lot of their constitutional powers to the president or administration, to other government departments, agencies, etc. That way congress doesn't have to make many hard choices. It more like, reelected me, I didn't do it or whatever got you mad, it was this or that government agency or department that did.

It really doesn't matter much anyway. Members of congress of the party that holds the presidency tries to give him more power and everything he wants. Those members of congress of the party that holds the presidency are more members of the administration than members of congress. I'm old enough to remember when speakers of the house would tell a president of their party to go to Hades in a hand basket if the president tried to take or over ride the power of congress. sadly, Speakers like Rayburn, McCormick, Albert are long gone. Today, Speakers are more than willing to cede more power to the president if the president is of their party. With one party in control of the presidency, senate and the house, we have no check on the power of the presidency.
