I voted "Independent -- No.", mostly because I'm a realist! Every major country frequently 'interferes' in the elections of all Republics (Democracies), and they have been doing this since before the creation of the United States.

We (the U. S.) were interfering in elections in the new Soviet Union as it was being formed a hundred years ago! France and England both interfered with our own elections here in America from the time the ink was dry on the Declaration of Independence. We have interfered in European elections, and, the Russians and the Chinese interfere in ours, too.

It's all like some kind of planet-wide "cluster-f*ck"... there's nothing new about it, and it sure as hell didn't start with the election of 2016 in this country.... How stupidly naive would a person have to be to think that this wasn't going on all over the world, long, LONG ago....

to expand upon the position mentioned by @Pollycy ... anyone influenced by social media ( the current issue) should lose their right to vote in every election until they grow up and develop self awareness...

    Foreign influence a 'new' thing?

How about this pretty 'in-you-face' organization that sprouted in the U. S. during the 1930's (way before ANY of us here in this forum was born) -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_American_Bund . The creation of it was authorized by no less than Deputy Führer, Rudolf Hess! Influence? Foreign interference?

Next, we should take a little look at how much we (WE) interfered with the newly-formed Soviet Union over ten years BEFORE the Nazis were conducting political activities in the United States!

[IMG]. "Now WHY would I interfere with anything as perfectly f*cked up as America already is...?!" :dog:
