    Only one-in-four Canadians
    support NAFTA ahead of
    'Three Amigos' meet

And why isn't the "Three Amigos Meeting" News in :flagus: ?

TORONTO (Reuters) - Only one-in-four Canadians say the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is good for their country, and more than one-third want it renegotiated, according to polling results released ahead of a North American leaders' Summit on Wednesday.

The survey from the Angus Reid Institute on Monday come as protectionist sentiment swells in the United States, where voters at both ends of the political spectrum question the economic benefits of NAFTA.

The U.S. Congress is hesitating to ratify a new 12-nation trade pact, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which also includes Canada and Mexico.

Trade has long been a focus at the so-called "Three Amigos" summits between NAFTA members, Canada, the United States and Mexico, held this year in Ottawa.

The matter has also become a lightning rod issue in the election campaign to replace U.S. President Barack Obama, who wants Congress to ratify TPP before he leaves office on Jan. 20.

Republican Donald Trump, his party's presumptive nominee for 2016, has attacked the TPP and describes NAFTA as a disaster that needs to be renegotiated or shelved.
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has also said she opposes the TPP.
    :blahblah: eh

Imagine, Americans demonstrating in support of postal workers :roflol:

    But, if you are :flagcanada: . . . .

Dozens rally in support of Canada Post workers

Rally calls on federal Liberals to take action as deadline of possible strike looms

. . . . people rallied outside Winnipeg South Centre member of Parliament Jim Carr's office Saturday afternoon to throw their support behind Canada Post workers.

Will a :flagcanada: postal strike effect their e-mail service too?
If YOU need to communicate with a :flagcanada:, you better do so sooner rather than later.
It may effect faxing to :flagcanada: too. Y'think?

I think that the meaning of the word benevolent is relative.......
    not absolute.......

I can't assert that I have zero ulterior motives to :

In late September, 2016, Premier Li Keqiang paid an official visit to Canada, the first trip by a Chinese premier in a long lapse of 13 years. It was also a reunion for Mr. Li and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shortly after the latter’s visit to China.

During Mr. Li’s visit, the two sides reached broad consensus on strengthening bilateral co-operation in politics, economy and trade, and people-to-people exchanges. The joint statement . . . . .

It is obvious, besides being Russia's Polar Partner and the future of a Northwest passage

France’s Prime Minister Manuel Valls is eager to see Justin Trudeau’s “Canada is back” rhetoric at work . . .

The French PM arrives in Canada Wednesday for a visit that underlines how Canada’s foreign policy has changed.

One priority of Mr. Valls’s visit is talking about finalizing the Canada-EU trade agreement

    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/man-pleads-guilty-to-botched-castration/article4150060/

57-year-old man's experiment with castration surgery ended with a guilty plea in Provincial Court yesterday. He pleaded guilty to one count of unlawfully causing bodily harm, and was sentenced to 100 hours of community service.
The man on whom Mr. Gillingwater performed the surgery can't be named or otherwise identified because of a court order.

Wow, that is quite an article!

I have got to deal with your signature though Moi621!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...-how-we-behaved-during-revolutionary-war.html
We Canadians owe Americans an apology for how we behaved during Revolutionary War!

I am completely serious in this thread......
I personally feel guilty about the historical fact that
during America's Revolutionary War, we Canadians were ignorant
of why the war was actually being fought so.........

Canadians being involved in PAYING FOR..... President Donald Trump's Wall.....
....(especially the Alternative Wall Plus that I have been visualizing).......
would seem like a positive step in the right direction for us evil and ignorant Canadians?!

Step one..... President Obama, after January 20, 2017 makes a visit to Nova Scotia.....

I can prove that we Canadians are doing this for selfish reasons......
those 143,000 acres of highly productive farm land along the Bay of Fundy that were taken
back from the ocean by dikes...... (dikes kind of like levee's, or sea walls, not the other dikes)....... (ok, some of them
probably were)??? Anyway...... we Canadians should be more than interested in assisting in the financing
of The Alternative Wall Plus, because it can be used to begin to LOWER ocean levels by up to thirty centimeters.....

one foot....... in order to attempt to make life safer for the owners of those 143,000 acres.....

So..... this could be a good reason for President Obama to visit Nova Scotia.....
    http://www.politicalforum.com/elect...ident-obama-remember-antigonish-movement.html
President Obama, remember the Antigonish Movement?

and one of his major reasons to visit us should be to discuss:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/opinion-polls/483090-what-do-you-think-my-alternative-wall-theory.html

What do you think of my Alternative Wall Theory?
An alternative wall..... to The Donald's Mexico - USA wall would include......
a massive ocean water desalination facility plus.......

a huge fish farm.... that extends along much of the alternative wall.........
infinite financing for the project will be made possible once we humans line up our
valuation of human life..... and all life..... more so along the line of how the being of light of
    NDE fame views life..........

(Did you know that ONE nation has experienced COOLING IN ITS CLIMATE SINCE 1950)? That same nation led the world, on a per capita basis in planting trees and in desalination of ocean water for agriculture, reforestation projects and for towns experiencing drought. You got it.....ISRAEL!
You can find this out by Googling Global Dimming.....
