I think that within a century total disdain for information such as this will probably be looked on in a similar manner to the deeply religious leaders of the dark ages who believed in a flat earth.......... and persecuted Galileo and other scientists.............

Since there has been exactly zero confirmed cases of past lives I find myself in good company. Oh, and I don't believe in palm reading, tarot cards, auras , or any of the other common beliefs of the overly credulous.

And the definition of " potential truth" is lies.

 

If you wish to define "potential truth" that way.... that is your decision......
but five centuries ago the earth being round...... and orbiting around the sun..... was regarded as merely "potential truth" and even then only by a well informed tiny minority.

You might wish to delve into these accounts some time in the future......... if only to take a serious look at what former Atheists have to say about what they went through. How do you define a prophet? A future teller? A truth teller? A condescending truth teller? (Condescension is to tell someone something that they did not already know.)

 

I would define Mr. Dannion Brinkley as a genuine prophet..... and a successful one because most of his 117 unusual predictions did come to pass.... but at least one major one has been delayed and delayed and delayed beyond when it happened in what I suspect was another time line. Chapter five of his book "Saved By The Light"..... in my opinion..... is right up there in a similar league to that of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and the minor prophets.

I apologize. I'm not following. I get that you think that guy is a prophet. What I would like to know is what you think a prophet is. Is it a future-teller, or something else? Is it someone who condescends to man on God's behalf? Or, is it something else?

 

Prophets are merely human........
they are capable of misunderstanding the predictions of the future that they are given but
for one example, near death experiencer Dannion Brinkley was given over a hundred predictions for the future and
about ninety or more of them did already come to pass.

His near death experience was in 1975 and the list of the remarkable visions of the future shown to him
is quite amazing.

One of the huge roles of a genuine prophet is to warn us so that we can improve and change our ways so that the worst part of the predictions can be avoided..... or at least the level of disaster decreased.

Ezekiel chapters 40 - 48 are clear that there is a temple for that time period.

Revelation chapter 20 and 21...... where is says that the Lamb and the FAther are the temple......... obviously must be for a later time period. That could even be for a higher invisible dimension that humans cannot yet see?!

I believe in the fulfilment of every word in Ezekiel and every word in REvelation but....... obviously.....
the final fulfillments of both books could be many centuries apart from each other.

Well lets run a test. Give us ten detailed predictions for the next six months. Dow average, Brexit deal, dollar exchange rate versus the euro, Mueller findings, and any othe six you choose. A seventy percent sucess rate well be accepted as proof of psychic power.
