I think I have drawn some conclusions as to what the likely IQ's are for various posters.

 

A great example of that is what Obama pulled on the voters. In his case, promises he made truly fooled millions of his followers.

 

So now you think average intellects are better than intellectuals or vastly superior intellects. You are the perfect Republican voter. Enjoy your clusterfuck courtesy of your average level mob. We are doomed if enough people like you vote.

 

Tax reduction for the wealthy like him, stocks high not because of him, low unemployment was on its way before him.

 

Stocks are high because of money printing, low interest rates and reduced corporation tax. Plus, upturn in Europe.

 

True, and what the OP will never admit is that even sociopaths/psychotics/mentally ill can have very high IQs...

Accepted into and graduated from Wharton. Self made multi-billionaire, achieved election to POTUS while being outspent by a large margin, has economy booming, has North Korea talking, unemployment at 50 year low, wages climbing, ISIS wiped out, tax cuts for all, millions of working Joes getting bonuses, lowest Black unemployment ever, lowest Hispanic unemployment ever. The list just keeps going on and on.

I don't know what his IQ is nor do I care. However, the man knows how to get things done, he sure isn't stupid.

 

I'm at about 125 and he's tons smarter than I am. But it doesn't really matter. His vision is clear, he is pragmatic in how he wants to enact his agenda, and he speaks coherently and without struggling for words.

It's funny how people will assume Trump has low intelligence because he occasionally says foolish things. (The real reason they assume this is that they hate and envy his success.)

Lots of brilliant people have a personality quirk or disorder.

 

Is there any serious person of prominence who agrees? Can a person with this level of IQ run a small business, never mind a large one?

 

Like Yogi Berra said when Reggie Jackson was bragging about his IQ being in the 150s: "Maybe 156 out of 1000".....Anyone who has a prep school/Ivy League education yet has the vocabulary of a third grader from Queens can't be too smart. Trump is the typical example of a guy who was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple...

 

Actually, he can. I suspect he intentionally uses "Basic English" as a way of 1) efficiency (why say "extraordinary" when "great" will serve well enough and save time? "Deleterious" instead of "bad"? There are some extremely intelligent people who decided early, or were forced by material circumstances, to go to work in trades instead of going to college and learning "two dollar words." They have small vocabularies, but be careful assuming you are smarter than they.

Considering that he had a very high SAT score.....
he probably has an extensive vocabulary but chooses to save time by not bothering to use it. Thank you for this exceptionally insightful reply.

 

I wonder if he is smart enough to know that there aren't 57 states or that Austrian is not a language? Our last president wasn't.

His vocabulary seems to be that of a little rich 7th grade blowhard braggart from Queens. His IQ, I would guess around 112, if that.

 

He probably had a "fixer" like Michael Cohen take his SATs. When you have his kind of money you can do that.

 

Oddly specific estimate, but ... who knows?

 

What we do know is that he was accepted at Wharton. Those who have examined the entrance requirement say it would take someone with an IQ of 145 or higher to pass the entrance exams. Not only was he bright enough to be accepted to the school, he was bright enough to graduate.

 

One of the professors who taught him at UPenn, said he was by far the dumbest student he ever had!!

 

Of all the attacks a person can make against President Trump, being dumb isn't one of them. At each stage of his life he was able to do exactly what he wanted to do step by step.

 

That means in his papers he didn't just parrot and worship what the prof said. For many courses the best way to get a good grade is to just feed the profs words and views back to the prof, who then concludes you are almost as much a genius as the prof thinks him/herself to be.

 

Keep deluding yourself if that's what turns you on.
