Is the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict another religious war?

So Azerbaijan is invading Armenia. Azerbaijan is almost entirely made up of Sunni Muslims and Armenia is almost entirely made up of its own national version of Catholics. Turkey, which is almost entirely made up of Sunni Muslims, is helping Azerbaijan with arms and proxy troops, and pretty much everyone is expecting Russia, who has a defensive pact with Armenia and who has its own state version of Christianity (is ROC also a variety of Catholicism? idk) to enter in a big way if the conflict goes on for much longer.

None of the news stories I've been following indicate a religious basis for the war, but when it walks and quacks like a duck...

I think the two countries are in Asia and not in the Middle East...

Exactly.... this is definitely a war with its foundation in a terribly flawed understanding of the Koran by Erdogan.

The mind set of Erdogan can be guessed at by his refusal to accept assistance for citizens of his nation after the earthquake.

I think this is a resources war camouflaged as a religious war by Erdogan. Erdogan is desperate for resources, think he needs a pipeline from Azerbaijan that probably have to go through Nagorno Karabakh
Armenia is in the way, likely if they take Nagorno Karabakh they will also take a piece of Armenia. The prize is the European gas market.

The sad reality is the Christians in Nagorno Karabakh are suffering and the whole world is turning a blind eye.

When you have Muslim warlords on one side it doesn't matter who's on the other side. Could be Greeks, Christians, Jews, Hindus. They're all infidels in Muhammad's mad visions.

Here's the "even more" scary part for Nagorno Karabakh & Armenia, Biden will take Turkey's/Azerbaijan's side, Trump will take Armenia's side.

By Biden do you mean Uncle Joe Biden or the people feeding him the answers to questions? This is going to be a wild ride until people realize he's been gone for a while.

I would be honoured if you came up with a question or comment or even a vehement disagreement with my theories over here:

Can the national debt of the USA be paid off in one year?
