.So you’re admitting you were wrong. Operating a motor vehicle is a privilege on a public way . Public ways are are still a right. Everytime you post you reveal how little you know about this topic. You cannot be denied the use of public transportation or any private transportation open to the public like cabs, busses, passenger trains nor airlines. So no, walking is NOT the only conveyance means allotted to our citizens.

As a matter of fact, in most states, you can travel over private ways if a public way is blocked to and from a residence. You are also guaranteed access to public water and water ( and air ) ways.

And then Heller said you can carry a gun anywhere anytime for any purpose.

Stupidest SCOTUS decision since Dred Scott.

    Heller didn't say this.

"Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose: For example, concealed weapons prohibitions have been upheld under the Amendment or state prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms. Miller’s holding that the sorts of weapons protected are those “in common use at the time” finds support in the historical tradition of prohibiting the carrying of dangerous and unusual weapons."

Multi-shot firearms in existence at ratification:
    Pepperbox revolver, 1780
Girandoni 20 shot repeating rifle, 1780
    Cardiff superposed musket, 1682
    Belton repeating flintlock, 1777
    Puckle gun, 1718
    Cookson repeater, 1690
    Lorenzoni repeating pistol, 1680
    Kalthoff repeater, 1658
    Snaphaunce revolver, 1598

The 20 shot Girandoni rifle was issued to the Austrian army in 1780, and the Continental Congress was introduced to and issued a purchase order for the Belton Repeating Flintlock in 1777.

    It's been determined.

“The Court has held that “the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding,” District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U. S. 570, 582 (2008), and that this “ Second Amendment right is fully applicable to the States,” McDonald v. Chicago, 561 U. S. 742, 750 (2010). "
    Caetano v Massachusetts, 2016.

That's because most suicide attempts are by medicines and cutting, and are more of a cry for help than an actual suicide attempt.

Hanging/suffocations suicide attempts are over 60% successful. The rate of suicide by hanging/suffocation has grown 111% since 1999, making it the fastest growing method. The firearm suicide rate grew just 18% over the same time period, compared to a 60% growth rate for non-firearm suicides. Almost 14,000 people committed suicide by hanging/suffocation in 2018.

Why do you keep ignoring this?: Why is 'legal intervention death' relevant? I notice that you cut this from your quote of my post.

And why don't you also say something about murder?

Actually, yes, you can be denied the use of public transportation.

State poised to institute sex-offender ban on mass transit

Not to mention it is quite common for city officials to block off roads for various reasons.

People have a general right to freedom of movement. They do not have an absolute right to go where ever they wish, whenever they wish.

Well the law doesn't seem to say that it is unlimited.

A Poor comparison. When the difference was 5-700 votes using a faulty punch out method. It was never to determine fraud; it was to correct inadvertent counting errors in hanging chad interpretation.

Doesn't matter. He has the right to do what he is doing just like Gore did. IE: Not fascism. Just because you don't like Trump doesn't mean that he doesn't have the right or that what he is doing is fascism.

Barr is just one delusional fat man carrying out the orders of another.

    Trump is seriously flawed.
There is no federal law on the books to prevent any law abiding citizen to legally sell a firearm to a felon unknowingly. Simply not following the guidelines of a licensed gun dealer allows anyone to legally arm any unqualified persons including the underaged and convicted felons. .
The few states that do require private sales background checks are powerless when it comes to enforcing illegal sales in adjoining states. Get real.

You can ignore the facts if you wish. :shrugs:

    Why should there be?

You do know that selling a gun to someone that doesn't live in your state requires a background check by law right?

That’s ridiculous. I guess you didn’t read the post. There is no federal law that requires a private seller to determine if a buyer is unqualified. That includes selling to an out of state buyer. Ignorance is an excuse to avoid prosecution for selling firearms to felons, underaged and sales to out of state residence.

Wrong. The constant defense of criminals and other unqualified buyers being allowed to buy firearms with the aid of legal gun owners is a typical cop out.

Fascism, being a political definition it is exactly what Trump is practicing. While Trump is preaching voter fraud with no evidence to his delusional followers, his lawyers under penalty of disbarment are admitting in court, they aren’t contesting voter fraud. It’s laughable if it wasn’t for all the Hannity followers..
Fascism is exactly what Trump is promoting.

Where do you think people should NOT be allowed to carry a gun?

Where ever private and govt. interests prevail.
We have firearm free zones. As long as we have armed right wing terrorist groups, it’s reasonable to have them.

    So, you concede even more.
They are all still a right, just like firearm possession. Your rights in general, are not absolute and they are NOT unlimited and only for those who qualified. Like all our rights, the public interest takes priority. Firearm possession is not absolute either. . The SC has long held that. But keep agreeing......and just like public ways are regulated in every state of the Union, so isn’t firearm possession.

Please, read for comprehension, and try - for the first time - to demonstrate some intellectual honesty.

    30k deaths. 435,000,000 guns.
The number of guns used to kill a person each year approaches statistical zero.
