But how can it constitute obstruction when it has no effect?

by your logic attempting to tamper with witnesses should be ok if you fail to convert them

Wait until Mueller testifies in 11 days, tRump said he was ****ed and I hope it wasn't another lie.

But he's not a witness? Firing Comey had no effect whatsoever on any of the investigations as Mueller proved.

attempted Obstruction doesn't mean it's not wrong if like Trump he fails to prevent Congress from assigning a special investigator - anyways he succeeded at ending the FBI's internal investigation, Mueller had to take over

prob about the same, but as most did not read it, this will be big in educating the public of the reports contents

But Trump's retort will simply be 'How could that constitute obstruction when it had no effect whatsoever?'. And no one ever thought it actually would, Mueller's investigation was actually far more powerful and far reaching, that's why it replaced the FBI's. Trump can cite numerous reasons firing Mueller, his lying to him about the investigations, his leaks, his failure to act against the anti-Trump bias in the FBI, his extraordinary exoneration of Hilary etc To prove obstruction you'd have to establish his motive and that is tantamount to impossible.

It will be interesting, it will force him to explain his failure to recommend charges decision, was it because of lack of evidence or because he felt he couldn't do that towards a sitting president?

I hope it is dead. This and the Russian collussion hoax? Like the birther issue before it, it allowed one party to avoid actually forwarding their bases' agenda. They really do not want to do so. Actually doing stuff and fixing problems? It loses them talking points.

we saw dems try many times, Trump always derailed it after giving his word to a deal... Trump's word means nothing

Trump does not know the art of the deal

Trump is Anti-everyone except Trump (oh and dictators like Putin and Kim)

I think it's more like a corpse the Democrats keep electrocuting and when there is a spasm they think it's movement, I think they'll have to walk away from it if they lose in 2020.

You don't leave obstruction of justice to the congress, the DOJ determines if obstruction occurred through the OSC. None was found, no charges brought.

I never said Trump picked his own investigator, he picked Barr to give the summary of the investigation though

    Rosenstein should of done that....

You said the Republicans in Congress did which is even more absurd. Barr released the report even though he had no obligation to do so. The statute says the AG why should the statute have been violated, Rosenstein agreed with the summary finding and the no charge of obstruction of justice, which the Office of Legal Counsel also agreed.

They didn't pick Mueller as much as you need to create that narrative to try and attack the Muller report now since it didn't meet with your expectations.
