About ten years ago I went to Bay City TX to work.(bay city is known as a suburb of Huston it's right below it) I Stayed about a year. Long story short even back then the people, Texan citizens are afraid of the drug cartels. Some of the newspaper articles read like Tom Clancy fiction, well not Clancy his stuff was more internationally influenced, but you know what I mean? (I hope). The families want a fence, and more! They had lost faith in the police being able to protect them and I do not blame them! If a fence was not forthcoming or even if it were, I would organized heavily ARMED neighborhood Militias! They would connect with outposts as close to each other as possible. Then layers of this human virtual fence would be added interlocking ever more tightly as new members joined. Of course without excellent organization the armed part could be problematic (to say the least lol) so weapon training etc would be mandatory etc. We are going to have to rely on ourselves as new threats emerge. If the Obama administration near friendly attitude towards rIslam etc the future maybe even a terrorist friendly government. The time to begin organizing is yesterday. Thank God east TN is 'in a galaxy far far' away from most bad stuff. No hurricanes few tornadoes due to mountains. No earthquakes, low tolerance to radicalism especially Christian haters. No flooding, and few non natural threats. reva
So what would you suggest? Should we have a border similar to the DMZ separating North and South Korea? Is that really what you want? I'll never understand how so many people can be so scared so often. Must be terrible.
