    In the Israeli newspaper Haaretz we learn that an Israeli officer admits that he made up one of the IDF's "most iconic tales of heroism":

    How do you think that this will affect the Israeli army, and the Israeli public's perception of it? Will people be upset, dismayed, or will they simply shrug their shoulders? I mean, this is hardly the first time that one of their soldiers makes up a war story or fakes an attack, so maybe Israelis are used to these things?
