Here's the latest on Syria from Greekpronews.(A non MSM or CIA controlled site).

Russia is building a massive naval force in the Mediterranean to help in freeing Idlib from the terrorists.

There were talks in Moscow by foreign ministers, defense ministers, and secret service representatives. Lavrov said that the Russian and Turkish army will act together in Idlib, since they are both familiar with the area.

He also said he hopes the coalition will not encourage the terrorists, or try to prevent the anti terrorist operation in the region. Also that they will not speculate about the Syrian government planning a chemical attack.

In the meantime, Al-Watan Online said that more than 40 children had disappeared in Idlib under mysterious circumstances and were probably kidnapped by the Al-Nusra Front. The locals believe they will be used in the false flag attack.

Go ahead. But know that the US only stated that as a hypothesis after hearing reports, and now states that it was chlorine weapons. Which, it was.

    Go Assad Go !
    Without Assad, Syria is fragmented
just like Iraq without Saddam, Libya without Qaddafi, etc..
Sometimes a nation needs their Baathist
or they won't me a nation anymore.

Those mean Baathist gave a middle class security
to their citizens that now far fewer enjoy.
An infrastructure. An economy. And all that involves. Now, GWTW. :(

Well they did get their livelihood destroyed by Yankee Imperialism!
Not just slaves etc. but the economy of the Southern States. Like food! Sustenance. :sniff:

But, in the M.E. the deprived children just grow up to become hard line Islamist.
    Gee, I wonder why

    Go Assad Go.
For the unity of the Syrian nation.

Y'see, only a mean, nasty Baathist can do it.

Syria was so impoverished before the civil war that literacy had been declining for 20 years.

So do you, dear Margot2!! Hariri was NOT murdered by Assad or anyone from Syria. It was Jeffrey Feltman, who prepared the complicated assassination of Hariri, while he was ambassador to Lebanon.

Mr Feltman represents the interests of the US “Deep Government”.
A career diplomat, he served in Israel first, then on behalf of the Interim Authority of the Coalition in Iraq (a private organization that did not depend on the Coalition but brought together members of the US “government of continuity”).
As ambassador to Lebanon, he organized the assassination of the former Prime Minister, Rafiq Hariri, the UN Commission of Enquiry and the Special Tribunal to try President Emile Lahoud and President Bashar el-Assad.

Following this, he became the assistant to Hillary Clinton in the State Department.
He then made his entrée as number 2 to the UN.
He is the author of a plan (technically drafted by the German Volker Perthes) for the total and unconditional destruction of Syria.

That was one of several rumors particularly among those who oppose Israel. They are accused of anti Zionism. That is not proof that Feltman killed Hariri.

Syrian regime's holocaust. And some folks ask why would Assad gas his own people when he does this to his people.

    https://edition.cnn.com/2018/08/30/middleeast/syria-prisons-death-notices-intl/index.html?

Abdul Ghafour Halasi was last seen in Saydnaya prison just outside Damascus. Amnesty International dubbed Saydnaya "the human slaughterhouse" in a 2017 report after extensively documenting mass hangings at the detention center.

Until May, Syria's government refused to disclose the status of its unaccounted-for prisoners, and President Bashar al-Assad dismissed leaked photographs of thousands of dead inmates as "fake."

With Russian and Iranian backing, Assad remains in control. And, in an apparent attempt to turn the page on one of the darkest chapters in the country's seven-year war, human rights groups say that Syrian officials released the death notices of more than 800 prisoners over the course of this summer. However, the bodies of loved ones, have not been returned.

"The war is winding down and (the government) is trying to normalize relations with the different parts of Syria as quickly as it can," says Joshua Landis, Syria expert and Director of Middle East Studies at the University of Oklahoma. "A big part of that is explaining what's happened to people."

Or you could think about it and stop taking unproven media claims as fact about the previous attacks as has been discussed, debated, and beaten to death on these forums countless times. Your long history above is referring to the two previous gas attacks in this war. Neither attack which was blamed on Assad had any evidence he did so.

Ex: In April Reuters did a a story where Macron stated the French had proof of Assad using chemical weapons in Douma and its a long article of Macron claiming this and that offering no evidence but that he had proof. Oh but for sure he was taking action.... Then in the same article he stated this one little sentence "When we decide it, and once we have verified all the information."

SO which is it Macron? Is there proof or not? Obviously not.. because proof has already been verified eh? Oh and that was four months ago and havnt heard a peep from France or Macron on it since. Yeah... Fake news.

Both previous attacks fit the same scheme as being discussed now for a third attack. " rebels" who are proven shipped in Islamist headchoppers are losing a fight for a city and Ho! Even though Assads troops are about to win and push out the terrorists. Hes going to decide to barrel bomb civilians with Chem weapons just for giggles? Sure sure.

The kool-aid drinking on this forum just gets more silly in its abundance every day

Who knows? They were though from 2 categories, rich and blue collar workers. They praised Assad and what he did for Syria - as you can readily see by the sacrifices the Syrian soldiers made to maintain their way of life.

This doesn't mean that the Christians and others didn't want more of a say in the Assad government, since it favored the Alawites. That though was miniscule compared to the evils sent in by foreign powers to destroy Syria.

But this is how the (CIA and Soros') NGO's work. They spend time and money to encourage people to protest and demand more rights, and then have radical groups cause mayhem during them with the intent of overthrowing the government. When the majority realize they have been duped, it ends up in war. We saw this in Ukraine, and it's been on going in the Balkans as well to stop the gas pipe line from Russia.

It all has to do with Russia, and the fears that have been embedded in the DNA of certain people and nations. Projection is alive and well, so rather than working with Russia so they can gain from its natural wealth, they want to grab the resources by destroying the Federation out of fear. One of the means used, is to try to alienate it from nations Russia has been traditionally allied with - whether its Syria, Ukraine, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc., etc.

This is interesting, because I always wondered about the plane that crashed and killed the Polish president and dignitaries on their way to Russia. It had the affect in causing suspicions and more animosity in the Polish people towards Russia, when the intent of the visit was to better relation between the two nations.

Suspicion of course should have fallen on those who wouldn't want Poland and Russia to better relations and not on Russia - but paranoia is alive and well in Poland, as in much of the world.

I did a fairly detailed assessment of the report that JIM sent into the UN in another thread. Post 30 http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ctions-at-idlib.540326/page-2#post-1069547550 The report has some rather critical errors - which is troubling to say the least.

    Quoting myself here:

"the main evidence for the conclusion of the "leadership panel" - which consists of 3 people - is that the Sarin used contained impurities that were present in the destroyed Sarin stockpiles from Syria"

While not stated directly - the report infers that because of these impurities the Sarin could have only come from Syrian stockpiles. As it turns out this is disingenuous rubbish. The Aum Shinrikyo terrorist group who did the Sarin attack in Japan used a product which also contained these impurities.

This lack of objectivity is disturbing - as are other things - but this in particular because most laypeople's eyes roll back into head when terms like phosphorous oxytrichloride are mentioned. They will normally just accept that "some expert said so so it must be true". I am a research chemist and do not suffer from this problem.

When combined with the "biological" evidence given in the link in the previous post- stuff that is obvious even to a layperson - the JIM report turns into even more of a clown show.

Hi guys. The situation is quite easy. The US and its ISIS lost in Syria. Moreover the US even failed to make a really big mess there. The restoration of Syria can be done against the will of the US, which is a loss of 'the only superpower'. The buildup of russian and american fleet there has nothing to do with a regular lie about 'Assad gas attack'. I can't imagine how stupid a guy could be to believe in the same trick more than a dozen time already. I have only one question to the audience I used to talk to for some time ago

    - Do you think if we all survive and see the next spring or simply said are you ready to die now or think that our extinction happens some time later?

The usual! Russia contains 30% of the world's natural resources, and the new world order cannot exist without it.

Israel killed Hariri with a German bomb dropped from a drone.
Anti Zionism or not, sometimes you have to state the obvious.

Do you see or suspect a connection between the Polish plane crash and Hariri's murder? Of course, the two amigos, Perthes and Feltman, are capable of any crime. So far, I only know them as working in the interests of Israel.

    Here is a refresher link:

    https://www.thestar.com/news/world/...e-crash-that-killed-the-polish-president.html

It seems the pilot was confused in the fog and an unfamiliar airport.

    Honestly, I hate nobody!
If anyone of us is blind, it is YOU!!

Anyway, here is a fresh bale of hay:
    ....
From National Security Advisor John Bolton’s statements last week to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s “warning” to his Russian counterpart to Tuesday’s State Department press briefing, where spokeswoman Heather Nauert reiterated to reporters the United States “will respond to any verified chemical weapons use in Idlib or elsewhere in Syria … in a swift and appropriate manner”…

It now appears the US stands ready to respond militarily to even the most unlikely and flimsiest of accusations.

I can't stand Bolton, but that has NOTHING to do with the fact that Syria was a failed state BEFORE the civil war or that Assad is an incompetent dictator.
