The moral card is bs politicians don't care about anything but power and they get that through public support. Going against public support is a bad idea

What has been obvious to rational people, which leaves out the majority of the anti Trump brigade, for some time now is that the smarter Democrats, which isn't saying much, have figured out that impeachment isn't going to happen now or ever so their best bet is to keep the sham running as long as possible to which end they will subpoena anyone and everyone they can think of in order to drag the farce out to the maximum length possible and hopefully damage Trump's standing with his base at least as much as they damage their standing with there own hyper radical base, which has even less of a grip on reality than they do.

So essentially you're only interested in validation and virtue signalling. Chris Cuomo & Rachel Maddow aren't fulfilling your emotional needs? Joy Behar says the entire GOP needs sent to prison, maybe follow "Joy" on twitter. :;): To the topic, Mueller's interviewed Hicks, and Bob undoubtedly did a better job of it than the idiots in congress can manage. (D)'s are finding it increasingly embarrassing to keep allowing Mueller to refuse their "invitations". Hicks, and in fact none of Trump's people face any legal jeopardy from congress. The (D)'s are getting some free ink, but that's the sum of it. The witch hunt is pretty much at a full stop until Mueller's forced to face congress. I can't wait to hear from Bob. The public has 448 pages of Bob's previous testimony. :;):

    Blah blah blah. :blahblah:

There's no corruption. There's no crimes. There's only a #WitchHunt. While the President is trying to solve the border crisis, deal with Iran, Syria, Russia and North Korea, while making great trade deals, Democrats can subpoena Hope Hicks. Because she's obviously a Russian agent.

I don't think Mccarthyism is such a good Strategy for the Democrats for 2020.

She continues to wait and see if consensus for impeachment builds. She isn't going to budge if it doesn't.

I can't think of any other single action that the Democrats could engage in that would help Trump more than an impeachment. Like I have said before.... absolutely no sense of self-preservation....... nor self-awareness....

These people already spoke at length to Mueller...it's in his report. There is no there there. Why don't they just ask Mueller to come testify instead of this dog and pony show?

The reality is the left has no strategy...the party is completely unhinged and Nancy P has no control

    Are you even paying attention?

We have been discussing ten instances of obstruction of justice for over a month. Four of them with all the elements required to convict (Act, Nexus, Intent), and the other six with alternative explanations, but a clear path for Congress to confirm or discard those alternatives.

    Here's an example

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...a-brief-summary.554959/page-3#post-1070506711

    Pay attention!

Holy f'ng crap Batman! How many dumb people are there in America who still don't know that the President of the United States has been cleared of obstruction of justice charges by the DOJ? Mother****! Shall I be drawn into a ignorant debate of pure stupidity or just wait for the ignorant stupidity to flow out?

Let's play the latter! TEN instances of obstruction of justice? Oh do tell! THE MUELLER REPORT SAID THEY WERE NEVER INTERFERED WITH! THERE WAS #NOCOLLUSION #NOOBSTRUCTION!

I don't know what more could be learned from Mueller. Everything is on his report.

He left ten cases of obstruction of justice. Four of them with the necessary burden usually required to prosecute (act, nexus, intent). The other six with alternative explanations or what information is lacking, but with clear indications to Congress on what they need and who to interview in order to raise to the same level. Everything outside his jurisdiction apparently has been passed to the corresponding jurisdiction.

So it's just a matter of continuing the process... Fact is that, as it is, I don't see a path for Trump to avoid doing prison time. Do you?

Yes. I think the best way to build consensus is to get these guys in public hearings. Especially Trump. You can only do that by initiating impeachment proceedings now. So whatever she's doing, she needs to do it quickly.

I suspect Nancy thinks what I have always believed: that Trump's real downfall will be his financial crimes. But this administration has gone haywire and time is running out.

Well.... then I guess we all think impeachment is a good thing then. And given how wrong the right has been every single step of the way in this whole process, and how right the left has been... I'm extremely happy with our odds.

What the f...hell Where in the world did you get the idea that the DOJ has the power to grant permanent immunity to the President?

Allow me the pleasure of shattering your cult-bubbe. They don't have such power!

Flow out you just did. What we need you to do is to stop flowing it out.

We already know this is a continuation of the 3 year temper tantrum over Trump winning an election that Hillary couldn't lose ,,, along with a coverup of the exposure of the DNC stealing the nomination from Bernie ,,, and the murder of a Bernie supporter.

There is no legislative value to trying to bankrupt people who work with Trump into telling lies. That phase of the temper tantrum is over and Mueller is not too excited about his reputation being trashed for the prosecutorial misconduct he signed up to engage in. Any self-respecting prosecutor would have turned down the assignment to investigate a candidacy and administration based solely on opposition research sourced from the KGB.

The end game will not be fun for the Corruptocrats. Of all people to release classified documents ,,, Barr is giving Schiff the opportunity to break the law again ,,, this time in front of God and everyone.

She knows its not wise to Impeach. People are getting sick of the entire threat, they need to either do it, or let it go.

Democrats are so lazy and so troubled that if they went to the dairy farm to buy a cow, they would pick the brown cow because they want chocolate milk and sue the dairyman due to the milk being white. Black cows matter.

This is a 3 year temper tantrum over Trump.... breaking the law!

That excuse is so unconvincing... You really need to start coming up with a better one.... Pronto!

Nobody needs a better one. The alt lefties, much of the media, and many posters on various forums have made complete asses of themselves since Trump announced he was running. Get over your loss you will be a better man/woman/alphabet for doing so. Next time run a better candidate.

That was the original excuse for Trump's crimes. But it's getting so old. It has always been absurd, but Trump loyalists used to sound convinced. Not anymore, though. They've tried to come up with new excuses. But all short-lived One was that Democrats hated billionaires. And then there was the one that just did away with any qualifiers and they simply said that Democrats hated Trump. Which was great for laughs. They recently even tried a "this is a coup" excuse Which fell flat on its face pretty quick once we pointed out that a "coup" would be great if it put a Democrat in power... but not Mike Pence.

Anyway, keep trying. You'll find one.... maybe.... Or maybe not.

I am sorry you are tired of it but then again it sucks to be an alt-leftie, on the good side, you only have a bit over 5-1/5 years to deal with President Trump.

:sleepy: "10 cases of obstruction" ... (D)'s havent begun the "process" they have available, so it's a "matter of continuing" the fishing expedition. 4 of Nadler's (D) committee colleagues want Mueller subpoenaed. Nadler won't agree. Bob must've broken the news to Jerry on the phone: "no obstruction".

Yes....very odd that they don't seem interested in questioning the head of the entire investigation. LOL
