As I look around I don't see what rights Obama has insured us. However I see many he has taken away

 

It's an expression I heard someone else say. The fact that you're whining and throwing a temper tantrum make me assume you're a liberal extremist who will defend obama no matter what, therefore rendering our conversation useless. You don't have the ability to see other people's points.

He is the commander in chief and head administrator of the United States government

He has accomplished what less than 40 people have accomplished out of thousands who have aspired to accomplish

That is to be elected the president of the United States and win reelection
So where is the arrogance

I often wonder about this. Does associating with racists make one see racism more often even when it isn't actual racism?

For instance, I wouldn't patronize that bar if it were filled with racists...I certainly wouldn't go often enough to know what is "usually" on the TVs or what happens "everytime" Obama comes on. Coincidentally (or perhaps consequently?) I don't automatically assume a neocon bellyaching about the POTUS golfing too much is doing so because he is racist.

On the converse side there is you, who I assume does think that the anti-golf crowd is necessarily racist, who chooses to frequent an establishment full of racist d-bags fairly often.

What do you think? Is there any connection between one and the other? Or would you assume that the bellyaching neocons were racist even if you didn't regularly associate with racists yourself?

Actually he is one of 43 and the least accomplished of the lot and with far and away the thinnest preelection resume of any president in history. They mean he acts like a know it all when there's scant evidence that he knows; like most of his staff. little or nothing. He drips condescension, like bad plumbing drips water. Hell even when he is before the Washington press corps, most of whom would much prefer to serve as cheer leaders rather than as objective observers bent on keeping the American people informed, he acts like its all beneath him and yet it is these days as an important a part of governance as anything else.

 

You believe the world is made in your image.

It ain't.

Conservatives are hard wired to actually think.

Where you are a 'feeler' you are all sensation, reflexive impulses, knee jerk reactions and uncontrollable impulses. You say what will sound good or what feels good and what you believe will make people hop around to your string pulling.

That is how Liberals have made it quite clear they are ill suited to the responsibilities and challenges of handling great power.

They use it in a petty way and they use it irresponsibly and in a self serving manner.

I have thought about this. Let me describe my little town and how I was raised. When I was a kid it was <10,000 people. I knew almost everyone from the town mayor to the drunk. There was not a single minority until about 1980's I guess. At one point in the 70's that Grand Dragon lived a couple of street from where I do now. My parents were very racist (mainly I think from just never having been around any minorities) as was I until I went in the Marine Corps. Pretty much all of my friends I know well enough to know in my home town are pretty much overtly racist. None of my friends at work are overt about it. I lived out in Philly for several years after I got out of the service and when I moved back home it was culture shock. There is definately a difference between living in a very very conservative area and not. I do think I am more sensitive to it than I would otherwise be.

 

Don't you mean racist area? Conservative doesn't mean racist except in liberals minds.

 

Maybe, but remember I was born and raised here. Those people at that bar I have know since I was a little kid. Perhaps I should not equate the two. The reason I think I do the more liberal areas I have lived in you almost never hear it.
