In a word, I am Relieved. I'm non-partisan, bit right or left given the issue at hand. For me Trump is a traitor to our American Republic, I am relieved his time is slipping to an end. Biden? A fairly routine liberal politician. I disagree with him on some things and will be pushing back best I can. I will be donating money to Second Amendment groups to fight his nonsensical gun control plans. But on the whole, I feel like this election gives us a shot at saving our Republic from a wannabe despot who, thankfully, lacked the intellect or the drive to fulfill his personal dreams of authoritarian rule. I am relieved that the COVID-19 response will be placed back in the hands of people who know what they are doing. I am relieved that our allies will have cause to trust us again. I am relieved that our military and intelligence people will no longer be insulted and demeaned and ridiculed. There is much to be relieved about, there is little to be joyful about. The election is too slim, the winners messaging much too far to the left, the divide built upon hate and distrust is much too strong. We have a chance now, that's what I see, I am relieved to see that we now have a chance to save our American Republic.

 

We now have Biden for 4 years. I HOPE he does a good job for all Americans. However, I am fearful of his and Kamala's policies and how it will be detrimental to American families. I guess it remains to be seen.

Btw: All of those who were ready to riot and loot, what are they going to do with themselves now? Is it still on?

Also, the media has lost all pretense and thus they won't be trusted again for a while. The part about that that will frustrate them is that even with orange man bad gone, it didn't help their prospects at all.

The arrest isn't the problem. It's the part where I said no judicial proceedings. You don't get to commit crimes freely because you are a political opponent.

This feels all too similar to the argument by Americans on the legacy of the framers here in the US. And I'm going to make an argument debunking it: The only concern that the state government has, is for its certified citizens. Now, whether these people should have been certified or not(as they are now) is not the question. The fact is, whether we like it or not, they weren't certified by the British, nor by the US at the time.

So, should a government give a damn about people who are not certified by the State? This is actually really relevant as it pertains to the immigration situation here. For most who believe like me, a government who cares more for the uncertified than the certified is an insult to the tax paying citizens.

In essence, the Empire was a symbol for its citizens to unite behind and through their unity they made their country the success that it is. Also, I do apologize about the assumption. I'm aware that Ireland has some difficult history and so I unknowingly tripped on a wire.

Despite xenophobic views in the Third Position, I can reject xenophobism while remaining a Third Positionist.

 

No actually it's Biden's OWN WORDS! He said he was repealing the Trump tax cuts, he said he was banning fracking, he said amnesty for 11 million immigrants, etc. Have you NOT been paying attention?

 

It will just be a continuation of the Obama years. Stagnation and a Globalist harvest where the rich get richer and the average have less expendable income.

 

When it's all said and done I believe the national polls will be closer to accurate than they appear now. Like 2018.
