This is exactly what I am afraid of. The violence of the insurgence/capitol was just the appetizer.


We seemed to have slid from civility to barbarism in four short years........ and it s being exacerbated now.

There is a sickness in the US now , and not referring to the pandemic. The Trump cult is looking for war.and Trump is encouraging it. The genie is out of the bottle. America is being redefined.........into something unknown.

 

Trump isn't going to be at Joe Biden's inauguration. You can bet on it.

 

I'll say what I've said through 7 months of Antifa/BLM protests: arrest the rioters, leave the peaceful protestors alone.

 

No but his sycophants will be there still screaming about “stop the steal” and you can also bet on them attempting to blow up some part of it.

 

That is my concern too. They do not want the event to go smoothly as it would ordinarily. The will do something , if nothing more than o distract from the event............and spoil it for everyone else. the scar thought is that america seems to have its own version of an organized (??_ terrorist group. They seem to be solidifying in their ideology......... and will not dissipate anytime soon

 

Actually it has been there longer and Trump has been at the periphery but after the election moved to the centre

Yeah, if you're not aware trump has notified his followers that he will not be attending the inauguration. There are a few of us that fear there is a subliminal message there.

 

Before he was banned, Trump tweeted that he would not be there. He wasn't there for the riots on Wednesday either. He amped up his supporters and then left them to go to the Capitol alone (after saying he would go with them).

I'm hoping that some of his supporters have come to terms with the fact that Trump threw them under the bus in his pseudo-concession speech the following day. That might make some of them stay home and not cause trouble at the inauguration.

 

Right...my money is on either out of the country or in jail.

 

Or pulling a publicity stunt...

He's between the rock and the hard place. He either succeeds in overthrowing the government and remains in office or faces prison upon conviction of crimes if he leaves office.

 

Actually, I trace it all to Reagan's decision to cut funding to the States for mental hospitals and to rely on new medications. These people are obviously off their meds.

 

Trump has lost his privileges on Twitter and I won't be surprised if he loses more of them and I think he will. Trump has abused his authority and deserves to have it taken away. He will be more likely to be censured than impeached. and I mean censured to the extreme which he deserves. Biden and Harris will have a lot to deal with and I hope they can handle it.

 

I won't be surprised if your words ring true. Trump has ruined the Democracy that we know. He's outdoing Andrew Johnson. Trump makes Johnson look like Johnson wasn't that bad and the other Bill Clinton wasn't anything like Trump either. There you have it.

 

Trump was causing to split this country apart. I think Biden will find it hard to bring it together.

Are they going to terrorize those attending the inauguration including Biden and Harris?. Would Trump behind this? If so, there's going to be a lot of pandemonium of sorts that we don't need. It would be un called for if this were to happen. I pray to God that this doesn't happen. These Right Winger ought to stay home and watch it on TV. Security needs to be beefed to the maximum for this. Trump is unpredictable and his followers are as well. We are heading down a road of disaster and no end in sight.

 

I don't know if any of us realize how dangerous Donald Trump actually is. He's has a mob of Right Wing terrorists and I mean terrorists that are deemed very dangerous vowing to come back for Joe Biden's inauguration. These Right Wing terrorist better stay home or get thrown out of this country or go to Jail. I remember Napoleon Bonaparte lost to the Duke of Wellington and got shipped off to St Helena Island in the South Atlantic west of Africa where he died in 1815. It would frighten me if terror were to be carried out.

American wasn't great When Trump was President.

 

You have to wonder about those Right Wing terror group planning on inauguration day. That certain want Trump as President and are loyal to Trump as we all know. Can they pull something off? It remains to be seen.

 

I'm afraid we don't know whether that's going to happen or not. Trump would more likely to be censured at this time.
