Jesus was pretty cool for the most part, though I think he suffered from delusions of the grandeur. I was always troubled by the whole "God's favourite" thing though, and Jesus doesn't seem to be exempt. For example there's a story where a gentile woman (a canaanite?) approaches him and says that her daughter is possessed, I assume by evil spirits. Jesus tells her that he was sent only for the children of Israel and that it's not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs.

He heals the daughter, I think, after she grovels, but still, it seemed a bit racist and cheap to describe her as a dog.

I'm sure he had his reasons, anybody care to tell me what those might have been?

Only Jews are human. [Gentiles] are animals. (Baba Mezia 114a-114b.)

    Jesus was a Jew
