    Source
This just after a 14.5% hike in just November. Apparently the DNC trying to pad their campaign coffers at the expense of the poor and elderly.

Is this EXACT what Biden campaigned against?

And at the same time the value of the SS benefits getting eaten up by inflation and our retirement savings plummeting in the markets. They want to put more and more people who never contributed to Medicare on Medicare and this is how they have to pay for it.

Then do the medicare/medicaid combo instead of the Advantage plans. I am sure there is somebody somewhere who will treat you, just not expeditiously.

I doubt it. Typically Dems campaign for expansion, while Pubes campaign for reduction.

The cons must really hate America since they refuse to adopt single payer universal health care, so you’re stuck with capitalist profiteers pursuing the American dream.

Weak sauce. Equity and inclusion means the freeloaders have to kick in their fair share. In a single payer system the tax payer is the single payer, the non tax payers don’t deserve squat because they didn’t contribute. But you libs can create a fund for their expenses and donate to it, but that’s not how you roll. You might create a fund, but you’ll want everyone but yourselves donating into it, by force if necessary.

Democrats... punish the peeps. It's what they do. They fleece the folks to fluff their corporate patrons. They used to at least mouth that they were for the little guys. This is just another example. Gosh, it's like a pattern.

Gas prices hurt who the most? And now socialized medicine hurts whom again the most? Democrats seem all about punishing the folks who they fear might not vote for them... It's pretty transparent at this point.

but what actions do they take vs what they say?

You can want to believe that your Democrat vote harmed nobody, but it's apparent that it hurt almost everyone.

Democrat votes have consequences; the war on the elderly is one of those

Perhaps Democrats are taking a page out of the Republican playbook to prevent people that don’t typically vote for them from voting at all.

Can’t vote if you are dead

I do find it strange that the same people wanting to completely disband Medicare are upset about premium hikes.

It's not that they "hate Americans". They just don't give a **** about Americans.

It's all about their donors, lobbyists and their agenda.

Missed the Obama years did yah? It was Obama that took single payer off the table!

    Obama 2009
"What are not legitimate concerns are those being put forward claiming a public option is somehow a Trojan horse for a single-payer system. I’ll be honest. There are countries where a single-payer system may be working. But I believe — and I’ve even taken some flak from members of my own party for this belief — that it is important for us to build on our traditions here in the United States. So, when you hear the naysayers claim that I’m trying to bring about government-run health care, know this – they are not telling the truth."

I support a national healthcare system for all Americans, what do I need to address? Cost increases as long as they are simply paying in the current system are to be expected.

Who are the people wanting to "completely disband Medicare" and what evidence can you provide to support your claim?

Republicans have frequently argued it should be taken over by a private entity and disbanded as a federal one.

If you would really like me to find a source I can, I just thought it was common knowledge.

Not to mention the budget cuts that have been proposed several times as recently as 2017

    awesome talking point

there is much that must be done before that could even be considered.

    Tort reform
    reduced tuition in universities

try that first and then watch costs drop

nah- more govt is always the answer to Democrat voters

Tort reform absolutely needs to happen

University should be paid for by our taxes and be significantly cheaper if not free (like in other first world nations)

I disagree about free universities. I would agree to reviewing and changing the curriculum in public schools.
