Biden was a racist? Not surprised. Obama, Lynch, Biden, Holder.... all were pretty racist, as I recall.

Historically, the democrat party is the party of racism and slavery.

One could argue that never changed.

That is very true. They are working hard to revise history and sweep their crimes under the carpet, that is for sure.

HA HA HA. Hell, even george wallace had a huge change of mind before his death. People tend to be products of their times, as conditioning is very powerful. But some people can and do change their beliefs and opinions about many things. It is what living beings, with minds do, and thank god for that.

So, there is no way in hell I would ever hold this against biden, or anyone else, that had changed with time. I am in no manner of speaking the same person that I was when I was young. I have change, genuinely many of my own beliefs and opinions, as I got older, and experienced more time on earth as well as gaining knowledge and hopefully some wisdom.

One thing is self evident. All things change, outwardly and inwardly. If someone is the same person at age 70 as he or she was at 21, there is probably some kind of mental illness involved.

And that is a little bit of wisdom.

The most racist parts of the country are Hawaii and Massachusetts. If you count how blacks and Mexicans hate each other, then you can toss in California.

Being from the south and having lived here for most of my 78 years, the truth is, most racists in the south were democrats, until LBJ. They perceived the DP of becoming N word lovers, and I can recall that like it was yesterday. And perceived the GOP of being more like them. It was not a fact of course, that the GOP were more racist than these southern dems, but it was the only choice they had.

I am proud to say that my own family, my grandparents, parents aunts and uncles did not leave the democratic party because of this. But most of the people that we knew did. The DP at that time was still representing working americans, and they could not forget what FDR did for them, and the democratic party. The party of the average american, while the GOP was the party of the rich and big corporations.

But those changes happened long ago, and today a conservative, religious southerner is not a racist, indeed I have known of a couple of repubs who are racists in more modern times. I am still astounded at how white southerners lost their racism, as the previous generations died out. I think the change occurred in the baby boomer generation, and later generations could not even recall when the south was racist and segregated. And unlike my generation went to school with black americans even copying some of the black culture, generally the worst that a changing black culture has to offer.

Honestly, I think the south actually did much better than the rest of the nation when it comes to transcending racism. And I think it is because we spent generations living next to black americans.

Today in the south, you can still find genuine racists, where people are judged by the color of skin, in numbers, but these areas are these little white pockets as found in north alabama, where no black people live or have ever lived, not being land suitable for plantations long ago. But these areas are small and few. But unlike in the past, if you are black, you have nothing to fear from these people in those small isolated pockets. And that once was not the case at all. But you would not be wanted or welcomed to move there. And no doubt these people vote for the GOP. But their numbers are insignificant from the big picture. But their perception that the GOP is the party of racists, that this defines them, is just utter stupidity, just as racism is.

Of course as long as we have lower IQ people, and hateful people, racism will never completely die out. IMO. But this belief coming from some democrats that only racists elect republicans is a hurtful lie, and speaks of their own IQs, IMO. Speaks of low IQs, bubbles and echo chambers. And yes, even some intentional dishonesty being a culprit as well.

I am not surrounded by racists in this red state, and that is the truth of the matter. Unlike many here I remember vividly what real racism looks like, personal and institutional. Any many times, the cry of racism, coming from the modern left is utter BS, and I doubt they know what a real racist acts like, looks like, and sounds like, if it bit them in the arse.

He's still in office, pushing infanticide.

The the guy who would replace him? Accused of rape.

Number three for the position? Also in blackface.

He was an adult back then and you are trying to tell us that he didn't know racism was wrong back then?

For your information, back then there were people actively fighting against racism, where do you think the whole bussing thing came from, and there were others trying to maintain it.

Why was Biden fighting to maintain it when others were trying to end it?

There is no excuse for that.

You can't claim he was a product of the times because many people back then were not the product of their times.

That is the biggest cop out I've ever heard. Remember the Nuremburg trials and many of the Nazi's apologizing for what they had done?

Did you forgive them for being a product of their times even though they learned from it?

Election season is coming shortly. Soon the Democrats will make believe they represent the black folk even as they continue to shoot each other dead in the streets by the hundreds....
